I've never used mod cheat things, If the cheats are programed into the game, sometimes i'll use em. but Im not going to pay extra money to do it.

Anyway, if there are mods in play on wifi, it WOULD be incredibly sucky, but I think that given Nintendo's obvious paranoida concerning the internet, they will do everything in their power to prevent such things from occuring. One can hope, at least.

Why worry about that? More and likely AR and other cheating devices will be blocked now, so I wouldn't worry.

I actually have the AR Wii, it uses "Power Saves" Which ,means they would go and unlock all the characters/stages/trophies through hacking, then they upload that save to the interwebs and then you take that save file for your own.
So that means no more debug menu =(
But that also means no online cheaters =D

Actually, there is a Wii version of AR. It's called Power Save I believe. Anyways, I don't think codes will work on Wi-fi. Codes never work on the wireless multiplayer with ds, including local. It may be possible not online, but it pretty much would glitch the game to death and no one would want that. I may get an AR for Wii, but probably not until I beat a few of my games and do all of the things I want. It's just taking the fun away when you do it the first time.

I think they may pull off something like in Pokemon Battle Revolution....

In the game, they could tell when your pokemon was hacked, and it prevented you from playing online (i think, ive never tried)...so possibly anything hacked on brawl will prevent you from pwning people on wi-fi

The Wii system updates have so far made the majority of cheating devices fail, and even the ones that do work still are buggy and don't work for a number of games.
