After a bit of indecision about where to go next with airConditioner airConditioner ‘s old “Project X Zone 3” creation thread, I decided to be lazy and do a roster that follows the “Everyone is Here” approach. Now already that’s around over 100 characters throughout the series. I wanted to make this creation thread to take this selection of characters and make a whole roster out of it. The jobs will primarily include but are not limited to:
  1. Creating new pairs of characters who weren’t before
    • Using both veterans and newcomers for these new pairs
  2. Reuniting characters who were partners in the past
  3. Choosing which previously-in-a-pair character to reduce to a Solo Unit
  4. No new companies will be added. we're solely sticking to:
    • Namco
    • Capcom
    • Sega
    • Nintendo
I want to see what everyone thinks before we get started on any character-related jobs. I’m willing to hear ideas and feedback, but in the meantime, I've put together a list of characters I know for sure would be Pair Units and Solo Units, and another list of characters in the "Undecided" category.

Job #1: What's the story of this game?​

Just be sure to NOT copy Fractured Bloodlines' story about Ouma Europe and its descendants. And before you ask, sadly no, we won't be adding any new companies to this game. We're sticking to Namco, Capcom, Sega and Nintendo for the character roster; just wanted to say this for future reference once we properly start character jobs.

My story pitch: a mysterious enemy threatens to assimilate various worlds and points in history and create a world where time is endless, even going as far as to undo certain events. Heroes and villains from across time and space must band together to destroy this enemy and restore the universe to the way it should be.

In the meantime:
