Im making a Project M UI and I need some artists and modelers(maybe a programmer and coders). I am capable of modeling myself and I am very familiar with the menu file structures and a bunch of other things. Im basing my menu of of this: http://popabeat.deviantart.com/art/SSBV-Main-Menu-v2-5-97305143

If you guys could help please let me know so we can make a skype group and get to work.

I was just screwing around and found out that my concept of doing it is pretty easy. http://imgur.com/a/ao4lD

These were just TEST that where already in the game. Now as you can see, If I positioned the tiles right, It would start to look like my base concept up above. I really need some help, this could be a big thing( It might be able to be used in Project M 4.0 if its good enough eheheheh)

I'm not familiar with any of this but I would love to see a new menu layout. Project M isn't brawl anymore, it feels weird looking at the brawl-modified menu

I could start making templates and ideas tomorrow if I have time. I also have some ideas for the SSS that I haven't seen done yet.:chuckle: It will take some time to make the SSS mockups though. Probably won't have time, got tests this week.:dizzy:

If this actually ends up working, you will have gone beyond anything I've ever seen as far as menu modding goes. I don't think anyone's ever actually managed to change the structure of the menus. Textures sure. But structure, I don't think so. I imagine you'd want to start by looking at the animation files for menus. If they behave like I think the CSS does, you'd need to move a certain bone on a certain frame of animation to get it to relocate, and even that's purely conjecture, I've never tried it myself.

Bad news, I've been looking for awhile and haven't found where on the CSS the "CSP Box" is. If anyone knows where it is in the common5.pac tell me please.
The files you'd be looking for are "MenSelchrChrBase01", "MenSelchrChrBase01cp", and "MenSelchrChrBase02", those are the files that dictate the shape of the CSS bases. The "MenSelchrChrBase01" is the file that dictates the shape of the outer edges of the nametag box, nametag edit button, and idle player slot. The "MenSelchrChrBase01cp" file doesn't appear to do anything, but it's listed along with the other two files so it probably does something. The "MenSelchrChrBase02" file dictates the shape of the lightly colored region just inside of the name tag box. Please do note however that there are no sides or tops to the bases, so attempting to recreate your example is most likely impossible without somehow redefining the resolution, region and shape of the CSS base textures.
