thank you for this. I don't see why shanus disagrees, you are both members of the teamI've contacted the person who made that WIP Ganon and gotten permission to use it in the project. I invited him to join the team but he declined -- his first priority is working on the KC-MM team, but he may have time to complete some more melee hacks in the future.
I believe the most important would be finishing Ganon, Fox, and Falcon, possibly with a bit of work muscularizing Boozer.
JCaesar's Youtube Account here: http://www.youtube.com/user/JCaesar007Where are those new videos that people were mentioning on the last page?
Exactly.I think what he was trying to say is that those of us already on the team are busy with more important gameplay changes, but if someone else was interested in joining to work on vertex/texture hacks that it could be included in an optional download, much like the possible SFX pack.
AGFanProduction, if you're interested let's see what you can do for Fox and Falco. Thanks.
Wow, the character resizing really made a difference. Always hated how big characters were in brawl. These videos are amazing. I used to be a doubter but now that more things have been fixed, the gameplay looks smooth and fun. Keep up the good work guys!
OMG.Sorry guys, I had to take that lulzy G&W vs Kirby match down. But you'll be pleased to know that G&W is losing his instakill vuvuzela attack.
Yeh, I was wondering wtf happened with that vid. xDSorry guys, I had to take that lulzy G&W vs Kirby match down. But you'll be pleased to know that G&W is losing his instakill vuvuzela attack.
Aw man.Sorry guys, I had to take that lulzy G&W vs Kirby match down. But you'll be pleased to know that G&W is losing his instakill vuvuzela attack.
What do you want...?I think what he was trying to say is that those of us already on the team are busy with more important gameplay changes, but if someone else was interested in joining to work on vertex/texture hacks that it could be included in an optional download, much like the possible SFX pack.

Melee Fox looks a lot better than Brawl Fox but I agree with you.I wouldn't mind vertex/texture hacks, but I'm a little hesitant.
One, if it can't stand up to the quality of Brawl's textures then it's no good. It seems to me that plugging a replica of, say, melee fox into any Brawl stage would look a little ridiculous, especially beside a Brawl textured character. As nice as Melee is, I think we can all agree that Brawl was a step up in terms of visuals.
Second (and more importantly), I would rather play a gameplay-sound P:M beta sooner than a gameplay-sound plus texture hacks P:M later.
(At this point I would prefer P:M as is now to having to wait for a more finished one later, but I daresay Shanus disagrees, haha)
Well, if you haven't seen the Melee Ganon vertex hack I suggest you take a look:Melee Fox looks a lot better than Brawl Fox but I agree with you.
It'd be cool if someone made a texture that was as close as possible to Melee Fox's look, but by still keeping it to the standards of Brawl graphics.
the idea of someone breaking a TV because of taunt canceling is awesome, and i think it should be encouraged.I sense it is going to be the cause of many slammed/broken controllers and tv's.
I don't get why? You can't even taunt out of initial dash, you can only taunt out of wait1, (exit from crouch), run, walk.I am going to say it....I don't like the Taunt cancel. Especially on fast characters or characters with really high camp potential. I sense it is going to be the cause of many slammed/broken controllers and tv's.
He runs away from you, and then the only way to taunt cancel again is run far away, pivot and run back (beyond dash). The only reason that match happened was because they let it happen back and forth on rumble falls....Well Imagine Getting CP'd by Sonic to a big stage and he kills you once and then camps. He doesn't need a projectile or planking but he is capable of taunt-cancel camping a large portion of the cast. Having him running away from you saying YOUR TO SLOW! Just...idk. The match that they uploaded alone gave me a massive headache.
Oh ok. Thanks for clearing that up. It can't tell these things because I haven't played the game yet. I will be traveling to Wilmington to stay with some friends for a bit. I may end up with some free time to travel to MD and maybe hook up with some ppl from there....idk if they decide to. Then we could perhaps do some testing. that would be nice!He runs away from you, and then the only way to taunt cancel again is run far away, pivot and run back (beyond dash). The only reason that match happened was because they let it happen back and forth on rumble falls....
It's no different then running back and forth without the taunting except with an extra sound effect.
This is a Sonic problem, not a taunt problem.Well Imagine Getting CP'd by Sonic to a big stage and he kills you once and then camps. He doesn't need a projectile or planking but he is capable of taunt-cancel camping a large portion of the cast. Having him running away from you saying YOUR TO SLOW! Just...idk. That was my same exact reaction, most random thing I've heard in this thread in a long timeLMAO @ taunt camping
wtf
I don't know about that; not being able to handle Sonic's taunt is more of a personal problem xDThis is a Sonic problem, not a taunt problem.
You don't need a projectile to run away for an entire match. Once you've taken a stock or lead, you just need speed.being so bad that you can be camped by a character without a projectile and lacking in priority is definitely a personal problem.
