I got kicked out of semi-finals because Me and ProtomanVX desynced twice and he had a screenshot of a replay of his side of the desync. I'm running Vanilla P:M, and his FD is replaced in the screenshot. http://i.imgur.com/8a3MuTf.jpg I would be fine with losing to him, but we desynced twice that set (compared to not desyncing against my other opponents) and I didn't have the chance to do a rematch.

How did the rest of the tournament go for you, GHNeko?

Can we please agree to not use custom music for PM tournaments on the main stream? That's even worse than textures imo. :ohwell:

I'd actually expand on what customized content is used, especially when it comes to stages. Can we please make Cal's pack the official tourney verion?! Plz, it's too fantastic.

My sister, who doesn't play video games of any kind, decided to try and clean up the basement because my grandparents were coming over. Our basement doubles as a guest room. I guess she couldn't find the Brawl case, so she tried to shove the disc into the Melee case. I think she also dropped it on the floor, since there is a pretty large chunk missing off the edge. There's also a nice, circular imprint on the disc that the border in the Melee case left behind. I tried it and the game wouldn't even start...

Don't be angry at her or anything though, it's relatively easy to now USB load (which is also faster, and the Wii disc reader wears out eventually anyways). People on the P:M IRC or a skype group I could invite u into can help u (james.madway). You just need a 8gb or more (try to get more than 8gb so you can put Melee on it as well) Flashdrive [or harddrive] (which shouldn't be more than ~$5)

I also just want to repeat, this game is SO good with C-stick to trigger Nair (on a diagonal press by switching it to Smash to Attack in Tag controller configuration). But the side-effects of making it set to Attack makes C-stick side presses now do tilts and register wonky (not allowing easy CC d-smash) totally blows it unless PMBR cares to make the game amazing and make an option solely for the Nair part, but people pry want to bring in ethics of balance or something to not care about getting the one aerial that's not able to be C-stick'd to be C-stick'd (other things like Footstool mapped to Jump/Analog, or Attack put onto Analog for DACUS, is not attacked by anyone, but they came with no detrimental aspects given the user didn't use the secondary button in the first place). Metroid's Ike is both benefited and detrimented by this over other Ikes, allowing him to Nair with more control especially for platform drops , but unable to CC D-smash.

That's awesome. I'll definitely try it out. I'll be sure to let you know if I have any problems. I'm not too mad because I have been playing a lot of Melee at the moment anyway. Thanks for the suggestion! I wouldn't have even thought of that.
