In the process I discovered a bit about how thumb sticks are wired up.



The reason the L wires are orange going in and Green coming out is because there are two different standards for wiring RJ45 connectors. I used brown and blue pairs for the stick because they are always the same regardless of standard.
I don't know if this has been documented anywhere, but it might be useful for controller modders to have on file.
