Hello.

So, I bought a gamecube with two controllers. One of them looked like this. It seems like a spring or something has snapped or something like that (I have no clue tbh).

What could have happened and is it possible to fix it for someone who's never dug inside of a gamecube controller before?`

If so, I have an old ps2 controller that I could pick a stick from. Would it be possible to assamble that stick instead of the original one?

Very thankful for any advice.

From my limited knowledge of controllers, I think the problem is the stick box and not the stick itself. If you replace that, you'll be fine.

You're gonna have to have a tri-wing screwdriver, to open it up. I'm not sure how hard it is, but I'm sure you can find some easy tutorials somewhere.

That's actually pretty cool, nicely done. Does it play well? It's probably pretty difficult to use...
