My vote goes to Mewtwo. My favourite 'legendary' Pokemon.

Captain Falcon, Ganondorf and Luigi are definately going to be in, otherwise, I will eat cheese (least favourite food). Marth and Mr Game and Watch should be back, I thought they was OK. Everyone else I don't really care about (apart from Pichu, ugly thing).

C. Falcon is practically back... I mean.. what character in the F-Zero franchise would actually have the GUTS of replacing Captain Falcon, AND taking his Falcon symbol to represent him? And there's no way FALCON PUNCH is leaving. :D

Anyway... my question still remains... Luigi... Roy... or MrG&W...

Even though I don't use him a lot (compared to the other 2) I have to say Mr.G&W.. More retro goodness in Brawl!!

^ Falco was insanely unbalanced. I hope they FIX him. (ADA was ridiculously cheap) xD

His Smash FWD was way too strong.. but I don't mind as long as they fix some other issues such as his laser, ADA, etc.

I hope they take the newer SF games as reference for his new moves. This character deserves to be back with a completely new moveset. O_o

Mewtwo deffinatly. He was my most hyped newcomer in Melee, and even though he's Bottom Tier he's still awesome to play as and he's got an awesome moveset, I'd be a shame to cut Mewtwo only caue he didn't worked out well in Melee. The most deserving character to return is between Ganondorf and Luigi in my opinion, but I'd say Luigi is slightly more needed cause he was in Smash 64 as well.
