I hope they make every pokemon able to follow you around, but it could be problematic. Big pokemon might not be able to fit in certain areas, and would fish-like pokemon just float around behind you?

Imagine having Groudon or something follow you, lol. I guess fish pokemon can be in a fishbowl you carry around.

Crystal the game? No. Blue and Yellow were really upgrades and remakes of Red and Green(japan), they didn't need remakes as it would be a remake of a remake(lolwut?). Same thing with Crystal. It was a remake of Gold and Silver, so it doesn't need a remake.

I doubt Crystal will get remade too, but it's not a remake. I would call Yellow, Blue, Crystal, Emerald, and Platinum more of...like the extended version of a movie on DVD.

If your rival changes in character at all I will be very unhappy. Silver was always my favorite rival.

Also, if Red's roster gets changed I will be QUITE unhappy. He's the hero from first gen, not some random ultimate trainer.

Ooo, and maybe we could start getting into genetics stuff with somehow checking dominant and recessive traits, then breeding Pokemon to get the best possible babies. For example, breeding Garchomp and some other really good Pokemon to get something along the lines of a mix between the two Pokemon, complete with variable changes in thier move pools!

If this is true, (not my elaboration of it, just the original rumor) then this would mean that Ninty realized that fans like making and seeing Pokemon splices.

It will most likely just be the starters.

Uh, why a facepalm? I realize you own and love the DSi, but many people don't want to/can't spend money on a brand-new DSi in order to play a brand-new, $35 game. I don't think it's unreasonable to not want them to make it on DSi.

Ohh, heh, I didn't realize it was made before. Interesting to see the differences and similarities in the sprites.
(Of course, it makes me feel good to realize that it clearly isn't hard at all to pull off a sprite that was highly praised...>_>)

A Rocket grunt hints at the fact that Silver may be Giovanni's son by insisting that the son has "red hair". While this does point to Silver and the overall story arc, he is not the only character to have red hair in the games.

The protagonist is named GOLD, SILVER is the red haired theif and is actually the son of Giovanni.

I'm hoping they add Giovanni to Heart Gold/ Soul Silver to clear this whole thing up...not to mention a lot of Gold and SIlver's plot revolved around Giovanni, who never made an appearance.

guys, im sorry to say this, but nintendo might just release them exclusively for the DSI (although unlikely, but here is my view), Nintendo knows how much money they can make off of this game, and they also know they will loose hundreds of thousands of dollars for all the people who are just going to use their R4 or similar. The Dsi, as of now is impervious to that, and they know that alot of fans will not resist buying a dsi just for the occasion. don't get me wrong, I am not buyign a DSI, I am very happy with my DS and my brothers Ds lite, and i will be extremely upset if that happends. Lets just hope they are willing to eat that loss in profits and release for the original DS.

That is Silver.

Just like Red is the protagonist from first gen and Blue is the rival, Gold is the protagonist and Silver is the rival.

Yeah...you have, unfortunately, a good point with that. They just better announce its system relatively soon so when I buy a new DS, I know if I can get a Lite or if I need a DSi...even though I don't want one at all. At all.

Seriously. In Gen 1 and 2, they were genuine *******s, and I loved it

Could they really make it a DS-i exclusive? I mean there are only a few new things, namely the camera. Unless you use the camera to catch pokemon I don't see it happening.

Even then I doubt Pokemon needs that much processing power to run.

The DSi pretty much uses the same cartridge as the DS lite, I can't think of any way to make it DSi exclusive. Until you can think up of some thing, then you should start worrying.

Unless in HG/SS you can make your own Gym, team or some thing and use the camera to take a picture of a emblem, but then you could draw it on the touch pad if you have experience in spriting.

Lets hope they don't mess up Hgold and Ssilver in any way (Not likely to) such as taking out the kanto regoin, anything that would mess up GS overall. They should have lugia and ho-oh in the same games to catch, and maybe they will let you get celebi, or put 3rd or 4th gen pokemon in the game when you get to kanto.

I'm pretty sure Celebi is going to be a GS Ball WiFi or Toys R' Us event. There's no reason they shouldn't have it any other way. I'd like it myself.

I don't think they'll mess up the game that much. The only thing they'll do is make it less difficult with the Vs. Seeker, but that's pretty much it. If it's anything like FR/LG, everything will be pretty much the same.
