Gold and Silver were my absolute favorite games. This was inevitable but it's fantastic to hear. <3333

Though the final product may or may not be good. I wasn't too impressed by Brawl, and I haven't touched my Wii in about 3 months. I wonder what I could get for it.

I can't wait to see this in the States. I might even import it, but I don't know Japanese, and it's not FFIV (which, over the years, I managed to completely memorize)

I also wonder what they're going to do to Whitney's Miltank...

Soul Silver.

I wholeheartedly approve of this name. I remember picking Silver because Lugia looked so cool. Good times, hiding in the bathroom so I could play it at night, keeping a journal of my pokemon journey. I was actually allowed to do that as a writing assingment. Haha it was so awesome.

I don't remember if I personally had gold or silver.

Though Heart GOld does sound kinda dumb, I'll buy it based on whichever version exclusive pokemon I like better...that's what I did (Except in the first game, I got blue because it has Blastoise on it)

But yea, I'm glad the remake of the best Pokemon game of all time is coming. Most people are guessing this game come's out for the US next year spring.

I'm gonna get HeartGold if it is official, because Ho-oh is way cooler than Lugia.

I also seem to get the least popular games- Leaf Green, Pearl and now HeartGold .

Yeah I got gold originaly but I realised after playing my brothers silver that most of silvers exclusives are better, but I doubt they'll be the same?

I'm hoping the move tutors for this are like the move tutors for Platinum and not like the move tutors for FR/LG.

And with that said, I want Umbreon to be able to learn Zap Cannon again. >:o I don't care if it isn't practical or reliable or anything like that. I just want to make my Umbreon the same way it was on my original Gold when I was still a little kid.

FR/LGs move tutors work only once.
Platinum tutors require shards but can be used infinite times. In route 212 (?),Snowpoint City and Stark Mountain you can find these tutors.

Yeah...Main story wise, GSC was the best, hands down. This has me excited + the fact that it'll still have all the Wi-Fi goodness. They better explain more on what happened to Giovanni instead of, "OH HE'S JUST TRAINING LMFAO!".

I disagree with that completely. Looking back at when those games came out they felt completely different from the previous games, whereas when Pearl/Diamond came out they still felt along the same lines as Ruby/Sapphire in game mechanics, graphics, etc.

They're remaking the older Pokemon games, the GAME BOY games. I doubt we will see a Ruby/Sapphire remake any time soon, at least not until a new console comes out.

Ig Kanto and Johto aren't merged, there will be millions of angry fanboys who buy the game anyway.

Half the fun , and half the reason it's so good, is that it explorers the time between the Kanto campaign and the current time. It needed that sense of history to be more than just an average pokemon game.

I probably wouldn't bother with it if it doesn't have Kanto, as I'm kinda tired of Pokemon. Maybe if I get away from it for a little while, I would buy it with or without Kanto though.

Wasn't suprised it was a GSC remake. But it was good that it was.

Since I got both Gold and Silver as a kid, I'll get only SoulSilver this time around. It has the better name and I like Lugia better than Ho-oh.

No no no not like that. Including the two additional regions would be crazy lol.

I'm talking about every Pokemon to date being available in the game. Kinda like how in FR and LG you could get all the Pokemon from both the Johto and Hoenn region.

All I'm asking is if it will have all 400 something Pokemon in it.

It probably will, maybe with something like in FR/LG though where you have to do a side-quest to be able to trade from other generations. I wonder if they'll do something for the Battle Frontier/Battle Tower this time around, or if they figure having Kanto in it will be enough.

I can't wait to see the sprites for this game. I hope they are worthy of looking at.
