Even /v/irgins (actually, they're just trolls. Real /v/irgins have pride, and don't lie) have a tendancy to lie. There have been way to many fake games to appear there. Don't take everything their seriously.
Oh, and they actually put effort into their lies. That's why it doesn't sound COMPLETELY redundant.

Doesn't really matter. What matters is that this game is shaping up to be the best yet, at least in my opinion, but then again, its a remake of my fave.
And its bringing in my favourite element of Yellow.
Not to mention kind of another Pedometer-ma-jig.
Probably asking alot, but what are thoughts on pokemon animations when they are clicked? Will there be angry/happy/poisoned etc animations for every Pokemon?

You are a jerk.... If I ever let my poor Bellossom fall in battle, I would carry her in my arms and run through an army of Macargo to the Pokemon Center. I dare any of those monsters to try to stop me from protecting her!
They've already begun releasing the game, so I'm not sure if they have decided to make animations for everything. Although it would be cool to see my Pikachu moving at the speed of light when he is about to level up.

Right when I heard of steelix being able to walk behind you I thought of that one trainer standing outside of amity square in the gate things. You know, the one that wasn't allowed to take his machoke and steelix with him.

Magcargo are hot enough to melt flesh upon contact according to their pokedex entry. Even being near them with be deadly

And dude, I want to see you PULL a Steelix with a Leesh. -.- I'd think it would be easier to carry it... atleast you have your body weight helping you oppose gravity...
And I would feel bad if I ever had to let any of my Pokemon faint in the first place.... so as my punishment, I would have to carry my fainted Pokemon to the center to heal them.
I wonder how this game will effect Pokemon in general....

Usually I do my best to keep my Pokemon from fainting. Even if it's just an HM slave. I sometimes have even restarted because one of my favorites fainted. Idk why. It's just something I've done since the first games.
Steelix weighs 881.8 pounds. Good luck lifting that.

Well, that's totally the opposite of me, I usually have sacrificial pokemon to stall and love finishing off the opponent with an explosion with the last bit of HP left.You're just like me

As long as one of my minions is still standing while the opponent is completely demolished, it is my victory!
I beat one battle by the skin of my teeth by pure luck...1 pokemon left and was able to crush his entire team by confusing them

I wonder when we will have access to Arceus, since we've all heard the rumors of getting him. I kinda like the little Arceus toy you can get when you pre-order the games. I should probably go ahead and do so now.
And to Mic, if it weighs that much, what on earth makes you think you can pull it? There are those bulky trainers who can probably lift a ton (if I can bench 250, it isn't impossible), and would have no problem carrying Steelix to the center.
And my gosh, Psycho, you would be willing to straight up blow a Pokemon up? I bet you play Brawl with Toon-Link, you terrorist.

finally! i was hoping they would make a gold and silver remake. in my opinion, i think pokemon gold, silver, and crystal are the best pokemon games made.

PKMN.NET reports that Kanto will be included in HeartGold and SoulSilver.
While this is not 100% confirmed, it does all make sense in the end.

Well if it does include Kanto, then Koga will not be th e gym leader and Cinnibar will have been volcano'ed.
How many ledgendary Kanto birds do we need tho? Platnium had them and then with Kanto in the mix they will be availible once more.

The Legendary Birds were not available in Generation II and probably will not be available now.

I never played the gen 2 games other than Pokemon Stadium 2, so I don't know what Kanto was like then.
However, I may not be looking in the right place, but wasn't there a Power Plant near Bill's house in the top right corner? Either I can't see it, or it isn't there.

Keep in mind that the map up there is from FR/LG. Also, the power plant was just above Lavender Town (which you can see on the map.)

The power plant was in generation 2...
It is actually used as a power plant in generation 2 so you can't catch wild pokemon in it anymore.

Also, the pre order in japan is July 4th (LOL), so they have to be coming out in the fall in Japan. We should be getting a surge of info sometime in june I think.
Anything would be better than his team with 3 dragonite in the original gbc games :/

I really hate how all the special events for soulsilver and heartgold are used with special pokemon that aren't available where I live...

The arceus event is in the Shinto ruins. Shinno+Kanto, so does that mean shinnoh is on the cusp of kanto and we get a town or two from the area? I only derive this from Tojho falls wich is Jhoto+ Kanto.
