Pichu and Pikachu are very similar in color. Pichu being a bit lighter in some artwork. The Pikachu colored Pichu actually isn't Pikachu colored at all. It's darker the same way that a shiny Pikachu is.

The reason it's called a Pikachu colored Pichu is because shiny is essentially a slang term created by the fans. It's never been officially used by Nintendo. It's more of a PR term than a literal meaning.

Yes, you are correct. The closest that Nintendo has ever come to "naming" the Shiny Pokemon is "Alternately-colored".

Pokewalk sounds interesting. It might make training at least a little easier due to the fact that you can carry it around at school and such, but it also sounds too similar to that Poket Pikachu thing.

I think the PokeWalk will actually be really useful. You likely won't be able to EV train ON the thing, but you EV train BEFORE doing that. As I've said before, I am currently stuck in...four Pokemon games where I have to grind to move forward and I don't want to.

And, I still carry around my old Pokemon Pikachu GS in my pocket (yay being a geek). If I had a PokeWalk, I wouldn't really change anything, I'd just be getting more out of it.

But yes, I am definetly excited for this also. How hard is it to carry in your pocket throughout the school day or during a day at the mall, the garden, the crematorium, the morgue, the graveyard, or the tattoo parlor.

-After the Elite Four is defeated, Kyogre (in HeartGold) and Groudon (in SoulSilver) will become avaiable somewhere in Johto.

-If you manage to get both Kyogre and Groudon onto the same version of the game (by trading and/or transferring) then Rayquaza will appear!

Apparently Cynthia, Arceus, and the weather pokemon you mentioned are all in this game.

It's starting to make me wonder what kind of remake this will be, seeing as none of those things are even remotely related to the original. Should be interesting.

Meh, it ruins the whole idea of trading (other then HG/SS exclusives) because you can catch just about every pokemon in this game without the need of any other game.

Plus, some of the stuff like having D/P/G and K/G/R along with Lugia and Ho-oh ruins the idea of each version/region having there special pokemon.

I bet they'll add mewtwo as well.

I agree, though, I have to admit I'm a bit happy, since I don't personally have / can't afford a DS and am going to have to play on an emulator.

It's just their way of sugarcoating it for the younger fans because they don't want to upset the little ones that their favorite legendary isn't there to capture, and that they have to trade for what they want, blah, blah, blah!

This is the remake of JOHTO, not Hoenn or Sinnoh! At least make the GTS used for something!

As long as the Safari Zone's open in Kanto (If Kanto will be playable), and I don't have to get action replay for unlocking Cerulean Cave, I'll be happy.

I was reading up and apparently ALL 493 Pokemon will be able to follow you. (like said above)

I can't imagine a Wailord following me, but I wonder if there will be limits. Such as sea pokemon can only follow you in the sea, and the rest of the Pokemon can only follow you on Water.

I wonder if they'll also be messing with the Surf mounts also. Can I actually ride my Wailord instead of riding a very strange looking .. creature?

That's interesting.

While some people have mentioned disdain at the thought of R/S/E legends being included it does seem that they are at least trying to go all out with this. Honestly, I think the inclusion of those legends outside of Jirachi is kind of odd. All Pokemon being able to follow you is a pretty big deal. And honestly, it's kind of nice to see that they are not content with remaking G/S in the strictist fashion. At least this way the game will have more playtime.

After reviewing, you guys are probably right about the information being false. Sorry for spreading rumors that may be wrong, guys.

Someone from the same source mentioned that the game will be DSi exclusive, but in some of the game art, you can see the DS logo in the corners, not a DSi logo.
