That is true, i wouldnt like that feature as much as well. But i can't believe they are remaking gold and silver in my eyes, i think the gold, silver and crystal versions was the best pokemon games ever and the gens. I cant wait and stay updated with all the new heart gold and soul siliver at serebii.net.

Anyone notice how that one screen shot with the pikachu-coloured pichu that there's a shrine thing behind them (isn't it celebii's shrine or something)? Well, I was playing platinum yesterday and when I went to celestic town I noticed that they have that same shrine.
Are there more of them that I don't remember (because from what I remember that was the only one in shinnoh)? Not saying there connected or anything I just wanted to point that out

Yup, it works well for Phoenix Wright -- though I imagine it would be fairly faulty. On more than one occasion I've found myself saying "Hold it. Hold it. HOLD IT. HOLD IT!!!!". And having that much voice recognition for ALL of the moves would be...quite difficult.

The one in the middle? I always assumed that Johto and Sinnoh had stuff in common, and suddenly HG/SS is starting to prove it even more.

I don't think it'd even fit on a DS Cart; if I'm right, the DS needs samples of a recording to recognise it.
And that wouldn't fit!

Well, they didn't in FR/LG so I doubt it would happen here.

I'm pretty sure that they're going to keep true to G/S and follow the general plot and wild pokemon like they did for FR/LG. They're more likely to add something extra at the end, like after you beatJohto/ Kanto, you visit the 7 islands, or you check out Hoenn, or whatever they feel like throwing in there as an extra thing.

☆ I bet money that they will make a Pokemon game for the Wii after this. At least they have to if you want to see some of the Sinnoh Pokémon that has more than one form. ☆

If they added on a Hoenn segment I would love them.
If they make me go to the Sevii Islands again, I might hurt them.

I think it'd be quite intense if you got to beat the Elite Four like in the originals, then beat up on Kanto, then beat up on Hoenn for a nice total of 24 badges...then beat Hoenn's Elite Four. who knows...
I know that I was surprised out of my skin when I was back in Kanto first time I played Silver. That's the kind of feeling I want when they give us HG/SS - I want to say "whaaaat" and then beat up on the little gym leaders. again.

No, you'll get your good old home-grown rattata and pidgey. Just like mom used to make. And endless zubat in caves.
Oh and Hoenn would kick ***. Best gen=3rd.
One of the main problems they'd have if they included Hoenn (which should be very possible) is the levels of Trainers/Gym Leaders. I'm also not too thrilled on the idea of a second Elite 4 - if they did by theme, it MIGHT be possible. IIRC, nobody else specializes in Poison (Koga) & Dark (Karen.) If they do another Battle Frontier type-thing, perhaps include the Hoenn E4 in that? The original Frontier Brains (from Emerald) were better than the 5 in Plat IMO.

I know every one doesn't like the design of the new girl right? Why don't we make some petition to at least change the Sprite for the american release? Do you also think the Japanese hate the design and are willing to have a delayed release of the game to change the look? I mean if Kris is in the game as a helper NPC I would understand why gamefreak wouldn't want to start ground up, but at least change the hideous design of that girl.

Seeing as I wouldn't select the girl trainer anyway, I don't consider this to really be an issue either.
The G/S guy trainer was always just too cool.

I'm choosing the female.
If I have to look at something feminine, I'd rather it be a girl I was looking at.

Hm.
While I was willing to keep a Pikachu in my party from start to finish, Pichu is a little too weak for me. If it can't evolve, I don't think I'll be using it to battle the Elite 4. It's a bit of a disappointment - pokemon that follow you around are awesome.
I really wish it was the other way around. I could use a pikachu colored Raichu much more easily (provided I could let it level up and learn attacks in the pikachu state first).
Although if Pichu can evolve... that would either be awesome or completely miss the point of having such an unusual Pichu.
Pichu and Pikachu are very similar in color. Pichu being a bit lighter in some artwork. The Pikachu colored Pichu actually isn't Pikachu colored at all. It's darker the same way that a shiny Pikachu is.
The reason it's called a Pikachu colored Pichu is because shiny is essentially a slang term created by the fans. It's never been officially used by Nintendo. It's more of a PR term than a literal meaning.

Yes, you are correct. The closest that Nintendo has ever come to "naming" the Shiny Pokemon is "Alternately-colored".

However, there is a problem with these remakes. Gold/silver had such great color schemes/sprite styles in the overworld, which is one reason why its one of my favorite pokemon games (granted, it was because of the GBC's limitations, but still).
Now it's just gonna be another generic color and style game like diamond. Anyone else see anything wrong with this?

Let's just hope that the Safari Zone is open for the remakes this time, that's my only concern!
