The Pokémon Company confirmed that new details regarding the downloadable content Pokémon Sword & Shield: Crown Tundra will air at 9:00 am EDT on September 29th, 2020. This DLC comes on the heels after the Isle of Armor which releases earlier this summer.

Not much info regarding the video has been shown including the duration of the video. We currently only know that details of this downloadable content will be present. In the Japanese version though, a music video featuring the popular Japanese band BUMP OF CHICKEN will also be shown with their new song “Acacia”. It’s unsure if this will appear on non-Japanese channels.

In previous Pokémon Directs and videos, content that’s been confirmed includes ruins that can be explored, returning Pokémon, as well as Pokémon such as Galarian forms of Moltres, Zapdos, and Articuno, the new Regis: Regieleki and Regidrago, and the Crown Tundra legendary, Calyrex. To date, we don’t know when this DLC will drop but it’s confirmed for Fall 2020. We are nearly 8 hours until the presentation at the time of this writing. What do you want to see?
