most of this seems very google-able. Have you also googled and just looked on wikipedia on some general pages of the things described here?

I assume this is like a take home midterm. Otherwise I feel like we shouldn't really be encouraging outside help on this.

There should at least be an index in the back of book for some of these terms though, I don't see how the textbook doesn't answer a lot of these. From past experience professors often form questions almost exactly as they're written in the text for multiple choice exams.
