Plant Gangster trying to get good and into local scene.

Hey, I'm trying to get my gameplay up a level so I can actually beat some people at the game. But, my wifi is ****. So I'm gonna try to find some local tourney scenes, and look for some plant resources that were made not on the day the boy released.

What are some good resources for someone who's played every smash that they were alive for, but was always the worst of the friend group? I'm a longtime casual, but looking to change that.
