Pits not as agile.

He is better than he was in smash 4 but his lag is rediculous compared to the rest of the cast in ultimate. He did get some buffs to his aerials but that's mainly due to the new engine. I really hope that he gets buffed but as of now only pit mains really know his issues

Pit’s generally a lot faster than he was in Brawl.

In Smash 4 they decided he was more about autocancels, and as a result every aerial short hop autocancels. In Ultimate they reduced his landing lag by a ton making it a more viable option to just land. Landing with multihits leads directly into other attacks, though it is not safe on shield. Bair and Dair are fine to land with though.

He’s a very different character from Brawl though, your old knowledge and playstyle won’t work here.

Brawl Pit was way weaker than the current Pits. His specials are more concise and fair besides down b and he can't glide anymore. Arrows are weaker so you'll need to be closer to your opponent to KO and also fair is better because it can string. If you used aerials and smashes in Brawl then this character is for you but otherwise probably not because the games are so different.
