pikachu's thunder null and void thanks to psi magnet

Hey guys. I was playing yesterday, and found out that psi magnet absorbs thunder. Now i know you're probably thinking. Duh, but not just the pillar. It also absorbs the part where pika zaps himself. In melee, I found out the magnet could absorb it, but just the bolt. If you fell near pika as he hit himself, you'd get blasted. Now, you're completely protected.

If you start up PSI Magnet right after he dsmashes you, you can absorb the thunder that will probably hit you.

No. You also can't absorb Lucarios Forward Smash but you can absorb his Forward B special if your in the right range.

I think Annoying was talking about how Pikachus usually use Thunder after a dsmash and using PSI Magnet after being dsmashed will absorb the forseen thunder.
