I mean, how do you play this matchup? You can be unpredictable, but you opponent can too. You can kill him with U-throw+thunder, U-Smash, F-Smash(maybe skull bash?), but he can too. It's hard to edgeguard and gimp him cause.... well, you know how Pikachu is at stuff like this.

You have to outplay them, just like all dittos in Smash. Just play better than your opponent, and you'll do well.

Since you're familiar with your own character, dittos always revolve around one thing: what does your opponent want? It's extremely important to observe your opponent's habits and find ways to counter. Pikachu players are often aggressive, and have a tendency to QA into you or land behind you with a Fair, both of which can be punished with grabs or Utilt. You're looking to win with a better understanding of what is and isn't punishable, and you'll spend a lot of time in aerial neutral with safe SH / FH Fair fades. These matches are just arduous and long, but think about it like the Fox and MetaKnight match ups: in a speedy-versus-speedy matchup, it's all about who can space the neutral and punish mistakes.

Pretty much this. Also, look for patterns in your opponent's QA, and punish accordingly. Watch for your opponent's up smash as well, as they will likely go for that as their go to kill move. If you play patiently enough, you should be able to pull out the win.

Pika ditto is dumb the optimal way to play it is defensively and just punish hard. a lot of things are kinda funny in the ditto IE Dair beats spotdodge Grab beats shield Fair will be used on sheild but you have to be careful cause Fsmash Fair beats Dair shield beats well everything minus grab and retreating fair/Dtilt Dair also beats downtilt pretty nicely nair is a safe hit and run move upair beats dair in the air and being under pikachu sucks Quick attacks are hilariously dumb in the ditto and going off stage IMO is more suicide then worth your while cause you might die at the cost of damage (messed up risk reward) and considering you both have the same recovery i dunno how i feel about the value of diving another pika (its fun as heck to do none the less tho >.>)
