Samus finally got huge buffs:

So far I can confirm:

F-tilt does 10% dmg now, sourspot F-tilt does 8% and is safe on hit at low% (this is huge, it's a really good neutral move now) Sourspot can also tripp the opponent. Angled F-tilt does 11% dmg

F-tilt also got Knockback increase, Mario dies at ~115% at the ledge on FD by a downangled F-tilt

N-air does 10%dmg instead of 8% and it kills earlier.

Standing Grab, Dash Grab, Pivot Grab have less ending lag. (compared with unpatched 3DS Version)

Dash Attack has a new early hitbox with 7% dmg. Much better combo potential, also Jab1 > Dash Attack is now true at around ~85%

    • Frames 23-43: Frame Duration of 1.1 added (Increases duration of shooting animation by 2 frames, thus not changing the duration of the move as a whole)

Can confirm nair and f-tilt changes! First hit of nair does 10% now, second hit deals a crisp 9, and f-tilt is indeed useable again.

this is seriously amazing!

Did they fix dash attack? Because it looks that way to me. Dont want it to be super placebo.

Dash attack's late hitbox seems bigger, which would be why it feels more consistent to you, the timing is much less strict. it also does an extra 1% which is pretty nice!

I'll just say it now any up smash linking buffs or grab lag buffs are 99% likely to be placebo, it's said every patch, no kill throw either White_Pointer White_Pointer

According to ESAM jab 1 actually true combos into jab 2 starting at 45%!

EDIT: He's also saying "Up B always connects", not entirely sure what he means by that though.

Up B seems to link better, havent had somone fall out off the side even when trying, and they dont pop out the top like they used to if you did grounded up b vs enemy on top platform

Can confirm, 1.1.4 it doesnt connect on fox after a dthrow at 0% but now does

She's definitely a hell of a lot better now, but calling her a top tier is a bit of a stretch.

Though Sheik just got beaten over the head with the nerf stick so anything can happen.

[Probably placebo, pls test on one system to confirm] Ftilt might have also gotten some KBG changes as well. It kills at least 30% earlier. (167% > 135% on Mario from the edge of battlefield)

Although I stand on my ground that she was mid tier before the patch, I know she is not near the top yet lol it was just part of the overreaction :p
And the buffs news keep on coming!!! I would like to help with the discoveries too, but those patches never come at a good hour....

If that's the case, it must have a higher KB coefficient. The 1% damage buff isn't enough to cause such a drastic change (should be [10-9]/9 = 11.1% more KB, and killing 30% earlier doesn't match with that).

This could be a flawed understanding of overall KB though so my B of that's not true.

Was this used on BOTH WiiU or Both 3DS? Remember 3DS has bigger blast zones and will alter stats.

Did dtilt's knockback get buffed?

I killed kirby in like the middle of the mario kart fg stage at 130%, I only had 50% worth of rage.

I'm entirely willing to write this off as placebo, but it doesn't seem to me like her screw-attack recovers as far vertically. If the bomb recovery has been buffed, I suppose it would make sense to nerf that a little bit though. Any one else have any experiences with this or any thoughts?

Wow. Almost two years now. I've been playing the same crappy character for almost two years now. I logged into smash tonight and started playing for glory with Samus, but this wasn't the character I've been playing. The Samus I've been playing was slow. This Samus SHADs around my opponent with ease. My Samus couldn't hit, but this Samus can spike with great accuracy. My Samus couldn't kill, but this Samus is a hunter.

I hope I don't wake up. :')

Alright re-confirming this. Just updated my 3ds to 1.1.5. Unless they changed the blastzones of 3ds battlefield this is most likely confirmed. Ftilt kills 30%+ earlier

So far these are my findings at least:

Jab1: Possible angle/knockback change to make it link into jab 2 better.
Jab2: Unchanged.
Dtilt: Unchanged.
Utilt: Unchanged.
Ftilt: Hitboxes do 2% more damage. Kills earlier (30% earlier). Also, inner most hitbox sends opponent into tumble also a good 30% earlier (so hipcheck charge shot is a viable thing now! As early as like, 90%!)
USmash: Unchanged.
DSmash: Unchanged.
FSmash: Unchanged. ( People reported better Hitboxes but I don't see much difference. I might be wrong tho. Damage wise it is still the same)
Dash Atk: Hitbox increased. Has early Hitbox on start up. Seems to have a lot less hitlag as well. Combos easier.
UAir: Unchanged.
DAir: Unchanged.
BAir: Unchanged.
FAir: Unchanged.
NAir: Hitboxes do 2% more damage and sends opponent into tumble circa 6-8% earlier. Kills earlier.
ZAir: Unchanged.

All throws seem unchanged.
All specials other than bombs seem unchanged.
Bombs may come out earlier but I don't want to comment on startup/cooldowns until we get the frame data. Same with grabs.
