Here's where I start worrying a bit. I am not a fan of day 1 claims. Until a flip, we have no solid reads to go by, only speculatory reads. Giving scum role information on night 1 is a pretty ridiculous advantage to scum. Scum will have safe claims, and it will just mislead town for 2 days (today or tomorrow). Normally I like to go exploring, but it's a bit early in the game for that.

Joking around here and there in RVS isn't unheard of. I contributed during RVS outside of my joke about being your house mate however. Why did you ignore that when writing up your case on me?

There was no importance in you answering OS' question from my point of view since I felt that line of questioning didn't seem like a scum hunting question or him trying to get a read on you. However, OS did state that he had rationale for asking you that question, which is why I said there was no reason for you not to confirm the answer I gave.

@Sephiroths, what is your mentality coming into this game? I support Sangfroid's questions towards you, specifically regarding myself being fake...are you trying to over exaggerate pressure on me to get a read, or do you genuinely believe I am being fake? If the former, why me? If the latter, I want you to cite examples of my would-be fakeness.

I don't see how you're being aggressive. What you're doing is asking Seph why he picked you, and what you've done wrong - which isn't that far from 'I haven't done anything wrong', hence, being defensive. You seem a bit eager to push back against Seph in such an early stage in the game, and when you're not really under any pressure. To me, being aggressive would mean pursuing a scum-read or questioning lurking players etc. Not just responding to someone's vote on you.

Can't wait for Bardull to contribute.

I think Sephiroth is Town as well as far as intent is concerned, but his execution falls short of the mark.

How can you know what he's trying to do? So how can you know how well he's doing it?

Yo, of my 3 (count 'em) games, I was scum once in Newbie 17, (Fire & Ice). I got killed by the other faction Night 1, but in the end we lost in Lylo. The daft thing is that my scumbuddy was all but non-existent til about Day 3.

@Kary/Bardull/Pierce: What makes you of John? Can you tell me of your opinion on the people in this little 3-some group thing?

Yo, I don't mind John so far. He's not so much here, but I don't mind the little he has posted. I may push him on a couple of things later, but yeah null overall.

Pierce- Can't really read him yet, waiting for him to pick up the pace a bit. Ok for now.
OS- Uh, don't like his play particularly, sometimes he seems to say something insightful but mostly it seems to be waffle. Huge posts about vote patterns/Sang for instance, not a lot to them in my opinion. Would like more from him as well, but don't really know how to go about getting that.
Seph- Actually really like Seph's play so far. Need to look into Seph vs Adum again (for tells), but I think he's going about things well, making activity etc. Remains to be seen how his pushes etc. play out. I think he can definitely stay for the time being.

Seph should pick our lynch for toDay pierce. We can discuss which of us can pick toMorrow, but Seph has obviously put himself in the spotlight and did so intentionally. If he's scum with a plan, I'd rather see him continue in the spotlight rather than pass the responsibility to one of us.

It was the weekend and I was pretty busy. Answering it now.

Whatever, RVS is shot to tell, so I'll tell you what. Give me your theory as to why you think I chose you and regardless of whether you're right or wrong I'll give you a full explanation of what I was trying to do and my reasoning.

Well, there could be numerous reasons. If you specifically chose me, then it might be because 1) you were trying to make sure I stayed active during your RVS or 2) you wanted to see how I responded under pressure. If not those, you might have been trying to see who immediately hopped on this so-called wagon, who immediately decided to buddy you, who decided to defend me, etc. in order to get reads and connections on people for later on in the game. This one I find more likely, being as you seem to think RVS is so important and would likely give you the most information. There are probably others but I'd be hard pressed to think of them because I've never been able to get much from RVS.

To the first, IRL mafia, I can't count the number of times that I've played as mafia. A bunch. The only time I played as scum on DGames was in Hearts Mafia (as Mafia) and I replaced out pretty early on. I think I made only 1 or 2 posts. To the second, never played scum by myself.

@Pierce: Can you explain to me how your read changed on Seph in, like, four posts? You were voting him, he made a comment about you being a possibility for being shot tomorrow, and then you just post, "Okay, I like Seph now."

But you're subsequently detracting from potential alliances you could be forging in RVS, as well as depriving Town of information regarding your potential interactions with others if you did participate. Needless to say, I disagree with your methodology for Town play.

I don't forge alliances in mafia games really, and if I were to, it certainly wouldn't be day 1 RVS when we don't know anything about anyone.

I still post at times and respond when asked things, so there are interactions. Also once we are in the nitty gritty of the game, I'm in full force of playing (outside of being away for CoT6 this weekend). There's plenty of opportunity for analyzing me.

So OS is indirectly agreeing to my lynch on a faulty premise. No me gusta. This is why I dislike Ronike as well, except Ronike screams all sorts of off to me in how he went about eventually jumping on board with Sephiroth.
