yea I say we make the melee = brawl as far as money goes, so if brawl is ten dollar singles then melee should be too

Also how would you guys feel, Nick and Darvon, about running melee teams and brawl teams at the same time? Then go on to do melee singles and brawl singles simultaneously.

Lets say there are 30 entrants for brawl and 12 entrants for melee and lets say we have 12 tvs (GREAT TURNOUT). Since there are twice as many brawl players as melee players, we could use 8 tv's for brawl purposes and 4 tvs for melee purposes. (Or maybe even 9 and 3)

With the relative quickness of melee matches, I see no problem with being able to keep these two events aligned and ending earlier than if we waited for each event to finish before starting the next one.

I reccomend telling both the brawl players and melee players to show up around noon, start both tournaments at 1 pm, and we should be finished by seven no problem.

Also I like Gallax's idea of top 5 payout. Let me know what you guys think.

Everything you said is factored into our equation for the tourney already. We fixed the payouts 4 the top 5 players and 7(If we have enough people) and We will most likely run the tourney in that fashion. We discussed this yesterday dude stay up 2 DATE My Master of Melee!!! :psycho:

be ready to get a phone call from us. We're probably going to say," On our way but we're going to be LATE". Thats officially what we're known for lol
pro tip: have everyone crash at someone's place in Tampa to practice the night before. Then when it's time to leave in the morning, everyone's already together so you can leave on time without waiting on some straggler of the group.

I might be able to make this. It depends on how many times I can manage to get off work. I'm going to a wedding the 1st saturday, this tournament is the 2nd sat, and my birthday is the 4th one.

Thats actually a good idea. I wouldn't mind everyone staying at my place the night before the tourny.
