The only problem I have with it is that they didn't announce it at the end of the tournament. So anti-hype to leak it through a non-streamed meeting. Think of how Little Mac, Greninja, and Charizard were announced.

Now to see if Game and Watch ends up on Smash Dojo... so far not. Hmm.

I understand, and am aware of the topic at hand... It simply implies that other companies are exhibiting wisdom whilst Square enix keeps all the cards, hey...

I think the gematsu leak has kinda spoiled some of the hype for character reveals. People really didn't want to believe the leak but it's been right up until now.

Still personally hoping Nintendo announces someone else who isn't on the leak so it's more of a surprise like Rosalina was.

I'm very sure Game and Watch is in, but unlockable along with Ness, Captain Memes Falcon, Jiggly, Falco, and Ganon (hopefully, because if not I´m going apesh*t). But up to now, I don't understand Sakurai's logic of revealing characters anymore.

Pac-man officially confirmed, G&W not even though he appeared. His purpose in the trailer is possibly only to show off the age of Pac-man and G&W. G&W also looks super weird compared to previous iterations, would be very surprised to see his design be like that in-game.
Hence, there's still a chance he's not in and Sakurai's just trolling us for the nth time. He may or may not be confirmed, but people shouldn't be shocked if it turns out to be the latter.

I'm frankly pissed off about the Mii's and Pacman added fuel to the fire. I hate that Nintendo did this...

The design looks fine to me. G&W literally has no reason to be deconfirmed,and there is a seemingly impossible chance to explain how and why.

And if you want to judge new designs,I'll just take Ike,Yoshi,and Bowser home.

i told this to a friend a while back, that smash has evolved from just a game. its so much more than that now. smash bros (as a franchise) IS THE ULTIMATE CELEBRATION TO VIDEO GAMES. we videogames/smash fans are really lucky

G&W is a funny character. he was introduced to me through smash and somehow i have peace with the fact he might return to smash 4... he is unique though...
