Our Bud Spud Is Signed By Sin Gaming!

Sin Gaming, which currently sponsors an Australian pro League of Legends team, will be extending its reach into the world of Smash for the first time to sign Spud! Spud became famous after being the highest placing Oceania Melee player at BAM7 as well as being the only Oceania player to take down an international guest. Does this mean we'll see more of Spud possibly at events in the United States? "We're currently negotiating with sponsors." Sin Gaming said on Twitter. "Very keen to make it possible."

Spud's Announcement Video

To keep up with Spud be sure to following him @Spud on Twitter. To learn more about Sin Gaming check them out on Twitter or visit their official website. Here's to hoping we can see our bud Spud at more events in the future!

That's cool, a new sponsor for Smash games. Shows that the community is really starting to attract attention in the e-sports world. Just one question...

Who is Spud, exactly?

I remember Spud. He beat Alex19 at BAM. It was a pretty exciting set.

Also, I stayed up until 7 AM to watch it and was extremely tired later that day, so I'm definitely not forgetting that.

Holy crap Smashcapps, could you at least give a refresher to people when they read this?

It's been so many events since BAM7 and people outside OCE barely know Spud.

EDIT: Nvm, found it. A shame it wasn't emphasised.
