Big venue change. Bigger tournament. Bigger competition.
Super Smash Bros. University and The Fighting Game Community of Calgary join forces this year for one of the most intense tournaments ever hosted in Calgary.
Otafest gives us another chance to play for high stakes at ASSAULT 4, held in the heart of downtown Calgary during the Otafest convention weekend.
This year - alongside Super Smash Bros. Melee and Super Smash Bros. for the Wii U, with the FGCC's help we're going full quarter circle with Street Fighter V and just in time with Guilty Gear Xrd: Revelator for the anime fighters.
If time allows, side events run by the community will be allowed.
=Prize Money=
Like last year, $4000 will be sponsored by Otafest this year to add to the bonus of these games - and if the unique entrants hits over 120, the pot will be $5000. Alongside the player's pool of money, one person is going to win big...
=Registration=
Registration is online only and will not be taken at the venue.
Again to emphasize, all registration is to be done online.

Last year, we gave away a Gamecube and tickets to the Zelda Symphony.
What's next? You'll have to see during Grand Finals.
