so im trying out pixel art for the first time. im trying to make a sprite of myself but im starting bottom to top so i started with a simple shoe. did i do good for a beginner? can someone give some tips? im using gimp at the moment. input would be nice c:

This looks really nice, but I think the colors and top shape are a little odd. I think you should try basing it off of something like

to get a more natural look. Very nice art though, especially for a first time! ^.^
