Brawl comes out in japan in a month (and a little bit later for us)... and I sincerely doubt we'll be getting ALL the new characters and returning veterans in that month...

So unless we get some uber update with the entire roster... we're gonna have to wait for brawl's release to answer all our questions...

he meant that he's only gonna give us a few secret characters (my opinion)... and just leave the rest for when we actually get the game...

I think snake and sonic (and maybe a few others) are secret... as do a lot of people... and were just given to us to promote the game... or to whet our appetites...


Anyway... do you think all the characters will be revealed pre-release?

MAYBE well et Captain Falcon before then, unless hes been made a secret character again.

I believe sonic was only revealed to us for the specific purpose of softening the blow of the delay.
We probably would've seen his confirmation much later had this not have happened.

I'm really interested in seeing how you unlock him and snake/and how they will be included in the subspace.

Now, on the subject of characters: In Melee, Sakurai reviled characters up until the game came out. But, with Brawl, it had a delay, so Sakurai had to halt character updates. Dedede was at the end of Oct. and the release date was Nov 22nd or something. So, chances are Sakurai would have shown 2-3 more characters. I think we may get some more characters in January.

But I just found out our Gameware is having a midnight launch WITH a melee tournament on the 9th. It will be an excellent night for sure.

i think we could get the last 3rd party character (if there is one), and a few more stages/music. i just hope come February 10th someone will complete the game and post all the characters/stages/music we dont know about onto the boards. Im from the UK so i wont be getting the game for a long while, but i hope someone can inform me on all the hidden gems this game has to offer (but not how to get them, i wanna figure that out for myself :D

Almost time. The only thing I didn't like about Melee was my lack of players around here. Brawl being online was a dream come true for me (and just about everyone). Once I have everything open, expect to see me online whenever I get the chance.

Off Topic: Does anyone know the status of the friend code organization yet? I keep seeing people say they're starting a site or something. Send me a PM if you know anything.

I think its safe to say we souldnt be expecting great amazing updates till it releases, snice it seems that the starting roster is already shown (hence why they didnt show it in todays update with wario or the ones with kirby) i think that the weeks might pick up, but nothing too amazing, probably the most exciting would be lvled around the chracter drop out problem solver
