i just never thought that it would be a switch from sonic to bowser. you know once you play as sonic, you would be use to running really fast and using him. just to switch like that sounds like a hassle...

I use charged/uncharged waterguns as Squirtle. I space to set up bullet seed with Ivy. I don't know what I'm doing with Charizard, and so I use mindgamed F-smashes or Charizard/Squirtle D-throw to finish things off for me.

Charizard is amazing D;

I just don't know which aerials to use to damage and all that stuff. When I play as Charizard/other characters, I'm still in the mindset of "I MUUST SAVE MY BEST KNOCKBACK MOVE FOR TEH KILL!" and probably don't use them as well as I could be.

It's kind of like the newbie approach to Sonic lol - "BAIR IS LIEIKK SO STRONG!! I HAVE TO SAVE IT!"

No, pokemon trainer actually has the potential to be really good, there's only a few things stopping him:
1. Forced switch, but that could be advantageous.
2. Mastering 3 pokemon.

Charizard is like Ganon, Bowser, and Ike in terms of like, punishability with the wrong move choices. Good 'zards are hard to find. They're pretty beastly. ;_;

In contrary to this thread, I can't actually play other characters very well. I just can't really get comfortable with anyone, because Sonic's playstyle isn't really comparable with any others.
Jiggz, Ganon and Falcon are the only characters I can use even mediocrely ;_;

not true. Each Pokemon has its good and bad matchups. Squirtle is good against most of the heavy chars.
