Dude, you didn't even mention Isaac? Golden Sun is one of the few series that have yet to be repped.

EDIT: Oh, and because I don't want to come off as a flamer, I do agree with most of the rest of your roster. I don't care much for Claus, Krystal, Wolf, or anybody else these kids are arguing about, they're all just extra reps from series that already have characters. I do not agree with Ephraim though, I just think he's too farfetched. Either Micaiah, or no third rep, as far as I can see. Doesn't matter much to me.

I'm more interested in new series, like Custom Robo, Golden Sun, Advance Wars, Mega Man, etc. Honestly, I think a series should have just the essential characters, and not any extra just because it "deserves" them.

Case in point: Does Mario really -need- anybody other than Mario, Luigi, Peach and Bowser? Kirby has its three main characters, and everyone agrees it doesn't need anybody else, but I see people arguing for Bowser Jr, Geno, Paper Mario, etc. etc. I'm not here to argue about their chances or whatever, I just think none of them are necessary. You take somebody like K. Rool, on the other hand, and while he's not popular(which means he won't get in) is, he's an essential part of Donkey Kong. Animal Crossing doesn't really have an essential character, and I think a stage/AT/music is enough, but hey, Tom Nook would still be cool.

Anyways, I don't know what my point was with all that. Good thread, omiz.

Yes, I would prefer Midna to be an AT too. There is no way CS Link can be different from regular Link. Its like having both Megaman and Ray Mk III. CLONES!!

Also, if there has to be an AC rep, it should be Animal Crosser IMO.

What the arguement for Nook is, is that he can't be in b/c he is in the background. Well...I told you of others, so what is the point of dragging it on? Just because they're in the background doesn't mean they can't be playable. Regardless of whether or not they're in the ship/seen talking/standing there. They are there and you can see them!

Those two spent months of research and use tons of reasoning with theirs. Mainly theirs are more in depth, and thusly require more than one post. The two you're referring to are probably Chronobound's and Wiseguy's threads I'm assuming?

You realize that wasn't the real poll, right? It was how many times that character was mentioned in Sakurai's e-mails. But still, Geno's pretty high up on the poll. Doesn't necessarily mean he will get in, because it's up to Sakurai, but he seems to have a pretty vocal cult following.

Me, I don't care one way or the other. Like I said before, I'd rather see whole new series represented, and I don't want the Square Enix slot wasted on a Mario character when we could get someone from FF or Kingdom Hearts. Even if Geno isn't Third Party, Square would most likely not give another character if he was in.

Well, now I officially don't have much against your predictions. . . pretty much agree on most ends (Midna+Bowser Jr=win alone). I would personally replace Ness with Cluas but thats just my opinion.

I am not insulting your list at all, but comparing it to those two threads with a ton of research and constant updates. It's nothing personal really. Perhaps you should also see the shared reasoning highlighted in this thread as well:

Then go look at the differences between their thread and yours. Yours does go somewhat in depth, but it can all fit in one post, as opposed to theirs which take multiple posts to convey all their info, reasoning, and research.
