Hey all, yeah, no one knows me, but I'm going to be doing a prediction thread regardless. Make fun of it if you wish, but this is what I honestly believe is going to be in Brawl.

Luigi: Mario's brother, puts the bros in Smash Bros.
Peach *CONFIRMED*
Bowser *CONFIRMED*
Bowser Jr.: This little guy has been getting more and more popular and getting bigger ad bigger roles, he would have a unique moveset and would be a great addition to the Smash Bros line-up.

Link *CONFIRMED*
Zelda *CONFIRMED*
Sheik: Part of Zelda's FS. It only makes sense. If no one uses Zelda, justgive her another spot on the roster. Being a part of Zelda's FS would add a nice strategic influence to the game.
Ganondorf: Main villian of Zelda, shoe-in.
Young Link (CS): Represents a whole different branch of the Zelda series. Huge fan base, very popular worldwide. Completely new moveset possible.
Midna: Going along with the TP theme, we have the TP herself. Without Wolf Link, she still has multitudes of possible movesets. Her powers include transforming, teleporting, dark magic, and hovering.

Pikachu *CONFIRMED*
PKMN Trainer *CONFIRMED*
Jigglypuff: Has been in every smash, I don't like her, but she is a shoe-in. Don't get it but w/e.
Mewtwo: "Villian-like" role, pretty popular, makes sense.
Lucario: Only rep that makes sense that isn't from the first generation, humanoid shape, insanley popular, makes sense. 5 reps is fair, one under Mario. PKMN is one of Nintendo's top-selling and most popular franchises, like it or not!

Fox *CONFIRMED*
Falco: Argueably the most popular character of the franchise. Was in Melee, new moveset capabilities.
Wolf: Fox's rival, best person to use to represent the "evil" side of Star Fox. Krystal would be great and all, but if Fox, Falco, and Krystal were in, then there would be no darker aspect, and would beg the question, where's Slippy? Overall, I think most people prefer Wolf anyways.

Ness: Come on, he's been here since the beginning. I say give him a new moveset. Claus would be cool and all, but you simply cannot get rid of Ness.

King K. Rool: As the most prominent villian of this major series, he needs to be included.

Yoshi *CONFIRMED*

Captain Falcon: How can you have smash without the good captains infamous FALCON PUNCH!!!???

Mr. G&W: As the most unique melee fighter, he should mos def be included in Brawl, he deserves it.

Andy: The most popular member of a series spanning 10+ games, it is about time Nintendo Wars gets a rep. This series is continually growing and evolving. Andy could fight with his wrenches and use his forces to combat the enemy.

Ike *CONFIRMED*
Marth: He's the FE Lord that started it all. Way back in FE 1&2, he is the only Lord to be featured in more then one game. You can't have FE without Marth. Like it or not, he should be in the game (who doesn't like it? So what two blue haired swordsmen???)
Ephraim: The Lord in the extremely underrated Sacred Stones GBA game, he is one of the only Lords to use a Lance. He would be unique and fun to use. Although, if he doesn't get in then Micaiah has a great shot. I simply felt as though you should represent the GBA FE's with a character, and with Lyndis no longer an option, and Eliwood another swordsman, Ephraim had a good chance.

ZSS *CONFIRMED*
Ridley: Villian of Metroid series, badass, deserves it, end o' story.

Captain Olimar: Hero of one of the most memorable GCN titles ever, Pikmin and Pikmin 2. Size does not matter, he has a great shot and would make a fantastic moveset.

Tom Nook: Here's a controversial one! Yeah, he IS in the background of Smashville, no it doesn't matter. We've had Fox in backgrounds, Falcon in backgrounds, and we've had 4 Bowser's fighting each other. Honestly, that should not matter. Nook is a great character, and AC should have a rep. Heck, they have a stage and items!!! He could use Slingshots, Shovels, Nets, Axes, assorted furniture items, and much more! Obviously Sakurai feels AC has a place in Brawl, so he will fit.

Sonic *CONFIRMED*
Snake *CONFIRMED*
Geno: It doesn't matter if he's no longer popular, neither were Ice Climbers. Since he was so high on Sakurai's poll, it's almost a shoe-in...but then again, we all thought Megaman was too...

IF I'M WRONG

Here are some other characters that have shots at taking the spots of my selected bunch.

MARIO SERIES

1. Count Bleck
2. Fawful

Honestly, other then what I've previously stated, no one else has much of a chancefor Brawl from the Mario series.

ZELDA SERIES

1. Zant
2. Midna/Wolf Link
3. Skull Mid (Majora)

Meh, Zant would be better as a boss, Majora is a bit of a stretch as well. If Young Link is removed from my list along with Midna alone, then Midna/Wolf Link definately has a chance. However, I doubt seeing them together with Link and Young Link in the same roster.

PKMN Series

1. Blaziken
2. PKMN Trainer II
3. Pichu

They are all huge stretches. If anything I think we'd see Pichu before another PKMN Trainer and before a starter from a failed generation. Oh well.

STAR FOX SERIES

1. Krystal
2. Slippy

Krystal is assured to be in if one of my predictions fails to make the cut. Female, popular, and ready to fight. Slippy is a major stretch, but you cannot forget about that annoying little frog!

KIRBY SERIES
N/A
No one else deserves it.

MOTHER SERIES

1. Claus
2. Paula
3. Jeff

Correct me if I'm mistaken that the blonde kid with glasses is Jeff...anyways, Claus was on Sakurai's poll, so he has a big big shot and Paula and Jeff are mostly stretches...If Ness truely is cut, then I can see Claus going in.

DONKEY KONG SERIES

1. Donkey Kong Jr.
2. Dixie Kong

No, neither stand a chance. Dixie without Diddy is pointless, and who cares about DKJr???

YOSHI SERIES

1. Boshi
2. Baby Mario/Baby Luigi

Boshi is better off as an alt. and Baby Bros don't really need to be included at all. Overall, Sakurai should just stick with the Green guy.

FZERO SERIES

1. Black Shadow

Villian of most of the series, he wouldn't be a bad choice, and I can see him having a semi-clone moveset akin to Ganondorf's old one...Unnecessary however.

WARIOWARE SERIES

1. Ashley

Amid the rumors of an Ashley stage, I'm not taking any chances. Most likey however, she doesn't deserve it, and won't make the cut.

RETRO SERIES

1. Balloon Fighter
2. Mach Rider

Both these guys do have a chance, but I think with Little Mac as an Assist Trophy, they have lesser chances now.

NINTENDO WARS SERIES

1. Will

Will is the new main character for the upcoming Advance Wars game, AW: Days of Ruin. It would make good advertising and publicity, but he won't get in before Andy.

FIRE EMBLEM SERIES

1. Micaiah
2. Hecter
3. Eliwood
4. Roy

Micaiah is female, spellcaster in new FE game. Hecter has been in a couple FE games and is popular in USA, not so much in Japan, Eliwood could replace Roy and represent GBA games, and Roy could return due to popular demand. All could plausibly appear.

METROID SERIES

1. Dark Samus (Metroid Prime)

He/She's the only other option. I don't think he/she is necessary, however she is plausible.

PIKMIN SERIES
N/A
No one else deserves it.

ANIMAL CROSSING SERIES

1. Villager
2. Totakeke

If Nook doesn't make the cut, these two have a shot as well. I would love to see Totakeke, but Nook has priority. All could have very unique and fun movesets.

3rd PARTY

1. Megaman
2. Lloyd
3. Rayman

The options here are endless, however, I think these 3 have the best shot. Megaman has been unofficially deconfirmed, however, I think it's all a bit too foggy to be 100% deconfirmation just yet. Lloyd was star of IMO, the best RPG of the GCN era and was recently a PC in Soul Calibur Legends. He will also be a character in an upcoming sequel on Wii. Rayman is the representing character of the wildly popular Raving Rabbids and has a decent chance.

Did you read the reasons? I'm not sure I understand why Nook was deconfirmed...unless of course Sakurai stated it.

Sakurai doesn't have to state things, as these things can be seen. Such as Sakurai not stating anything that was seen at places like E4All, but those things are confirmed and deconfirm some things in the game.

Megaman was unofficially deconfirmed by his creator on a recent podcast, but he said there is still time, despite the fact that Brawl has reportedly gone gold.

Tom Nook is in the background, so is Fox, and Captain Falcon.

Wolf gets in over Krystal b/c if Fox, Falco, and Krystal were in, that would make 3/4 of Star Fox squad in, Slippy left out. Slippy fans would be burnt to a crisp. With Wolf, you also get villian role.

Ephraim represents GBA series, not just another Swordsman.

I'm keeping Geno under 3rd Party because link given to me was not good enough for me.

The maker of Megaman (I...forget his name) said in a live podcast on the anniversary of Megaman that he loves Brawl and would love Megaman to be on the game. Sadly though, no one has called him or I think Capcom in rights to use him. He said it isn't to late though and he hopes that Sakurai and company heard that podcast.

Seeing the character's vehicles =/= seeing the characters

They talk in Adventure Mode because it's expected, it's supposed to have some sort of plot behind it, Fox doesn't talk in Classic, that has absolutely no relationship whatsoever to Tom Nook.

Yes, I would prefer Midna to be an AT too. There is no way CS Link can be different from regular Link. Its like having both Megaman and Ray Mk III. CLONES!!
