Sorry if I came off sounding like a jerk. I guess I wasn't thinking clearly. I was hungry when I posted that. We are having pizza for dinner now. Also, I liked your idea about how Pac-Man would appear in the Adventure Mode. That would be funny. Also, I had a dream one time where I got excited over Pac-Man getting in Smash even though I am not too thrilled about the idea of third party characters. I guess Mega Man, Simon Belmont, and Pac-Man are good but not anyone else. I prefer third party characters with a lot of history with Nintendo, not a third party character who only had one game on the Gamecube (I am looking at you, Snake).

Sonic leaving probably won't happen, especially Pac-Man and Simon getting in over him. Even with MM, it's pretty risky.

Well, I will admit this... I don't doubt that Sonic will leave but I don't think Snake will come back. More fans wanted Sonic than Snake.... the only reason Snake got in was not because fans asked for him, but because his creator "begged" Sakurai to add him. I suspect Kojima remade Metal Gear Solid for the Gamecube in response to Sakurai's rule, the one that says "third party characters must have appeared on a Nintendo console at least once". I find it suspicious that all the latest Metal Gear games are on Sony consoles while there was only one on the Gamecube.
This is one of the rare moments when I want to high five someone because of what they said on the internet.
I agree wholeheartedly. Snake is by far the most undeserving character on the Brawl roster.

I honestly wouldn't mind if the third parties are cut (especially Snake, Simon Belmont would have been the far better Konami character), but given their vast popularity I doubt that they will leave. In my opinion, the most likely situation is that both return with Megaman or perhaps a fourth third party (Simon Belmont?) get in.

I doubt Simon Belmont and Snake both getting in. I know there's no proof that you can't have more than one 3rd Party character for a certain company, but if it's not a rule, then a second Sonic character might be just as (if not more) likely. There's also Ryu from Street Fighter (a la Capcom/Mega Man).

3rd parties are cool, but not overwhelmingly stupid ones (like simon belmont, ryu, and shadow) aren't gonna make it, it's a mostly nintendo game.
We need more reckongnizable people, like pacman, megaman, bomberman, and maybe sora (I wan't him alot, but i dunno if he'll make it, it would be AWESOME though!)
We don't need 3rd party related characters, like grey fox, shadow, or knuckles (again, they would be cool, but too much)

What I kind of hope for 3rd paries is sort of like Clownbot's where there are two from each company (with Capcom added.) That being said, I'd like for Konami to have Snake and Simon, Capcom to have Mega Man and Chun Li, and Sega to have Sonic and Vyse. Of course, Chun Li is questionable there, and Vyse will never get in, but I can dream, can't I?!?

Sonic and Mega Man only. It seems right to me. But of course I would go nuts if Simon Belmont and Pac-Man got in, too! I really don't think Snake really deserved to be in Smash in the first place. I remember I was outraged but Snake fanboys came rushing to his defense and claimed that Snake's inclusion was well-deserved because he had a game on the Gamecube and that he had a couple of NES games and that he would help sell the Will because obviously there will be a Metal Gear game on the Wii, not only on PS3.

Well, to me, Simon Belmont is to Konami like Pit is to Nintendo. Simon's games were some of the best Castlevania games. The nostalgic child in me wants to see Mega Man, Simon Belmont, and Pit all together again in Smash.

Well, if you ask me, he should stay. Why? Consider this: The average Smash player may play and end up seeing Snake (or any other 3rd party, for that matter). Naturally, said player will get curious about his origins and may want to try out games from the series that he comes from. It's the perfect marketing strategy!
Or, in layman's terms:
1. Super Smash Bros.
2. Add 3rd party.
3. ?????
4. Profit!
He also had a Game Boy Color game, by the way.
That makes sense to me. It'd be kinda difficult to put in Vic Viper as a rep for Konami. Anyway, Simon will certainly get in over Goemon, the Contra guys, Twinbee, Pyramid Head, Sparkster and even one of those DDR dancers.
Speaking of nostalgia-tested characters, Ryu Hayabusa and Bomberman would certainly be shoo-ins as well.

so fAr, subspace attempts to eat the world of nintendo, and chew it up. they used subspace bombs to tear up areas one by one. they controlled master hand to take advantage of bowser, and ganondorf to help take down veteran fighters. ganondorf destroys the island of the ancients by activating all subspace bombs. he brung out subspace gunship which was finished off by kirby. sonic comes out of nowhere and weakens tabuu
here is what goes on, all fighters leave to there respective lands. sonic stays at the mushroom kingdom to relax. R.O.B and master hand investigate where subspace came from. all of a sudden, R.O.B recieves a distress signal from beyond.its signals another R.O.B. in a demension
in the demsion, there is a portal, all the R.O.Bs are in a single file line, approaching the portal. theey sense no danger inside. they each go in one at a time. unkowingly, there is an eye that is keeping watch of the robots.

Who cares if he had a GBC game? Where's the games for the DS and Wii? Games for today's Nintendo consoles? It doesn't make sense to add someone like Snake who is always on Sony consoles... why help the competition? It made sense to add Sonic since he had many games on the GCN, GBA, Wii, and DS so he would help with Nintendo sales.

I think it's important to build up good relations with 3rd parties, even if the games they make are on another console. This way, you can ensure that said 3rd party will keep releasing games for your own consoles.
I mean, seriously. You don't want to piss off a 3rd party. Remember the Square/Nintendo fallout that happened before FF7?

If that was the case, where are the Metal Gear games for the Wii and the DS? Why are they only on PS3 and PSP? I mean, if adding Snake was to ensure that Metal Gear would be released for Nintendo consoles, shouldn't there be some games for the Wii and the DS?

I don't know if he is really that unpredictible. I think Kojima simply remade the PS1 original for the Gamecube just to meet Sakurai's "third party characters must have appeared on a Nintendo console at least once" rule so he could convince Sakurai to add Snake. I think this was what Sakurai meant by Kojima "practically begging" him to add Snake. If I see a new Metal Gear game for the Wii even though there are still several more games on the PS3, I will suspect that this is Kojima's way of "begging" Sakurai to add Snake in SSB4.

some costumes should have special effects. you'll also have a setting to switch costume effects on and off
physician's garb (for mario)
effect: switches fireballs to pills, and takes away all fire.
fire (for mario and luigi)
effect: increases power of fire, and increases fireball range
bee suit (for mario and luigi)
effect: jumps higher, falls slower, and down air changed to ground pound. you also be come lighter, and your fire attacks turn into honey that stuns foes.
sports (for peach)
effect, makes her faster, and gives her wall jumps, but takes away her ability to float.
red (for yoshi)
effect: neutral special changed to fireball
blue (for yoshi)
effect: changes up special to wings
yellow (for yoshi)
effect: makes all attacks stronger, but you fall faster than fox.
striker outfit (for every mario character and mario spinoff character)
each increases kick power and headbutt power.
mario: changes side smash to mega strike
luigi: changes fireballs to lighting balls

I might be wrong though, it could be pokemon trainer's hat. and how did jigglypuff become a fan favorite in japan anyway? with these possibilities, piplup could be the next playable character. you don't know what sakurai's evil plan could be!
the way snake got in brawl, mabye sora can be in! I don't know about his moveset, but we can say the same for........Chicken little, and Walle. even SPONGEBOB would have a chance!!!!!!!!!!
B: bubble bomb, just like toonlink, but blows out bubbles.
side B: jelly fish comes out and stings foes.
up B: a giant bubble guides spongebob upwards
down B: he absorbs energy and becomes bigger, than he can explode to damage foes.
final smash: GOOFY GOOBER ROCK he goes to the middle of the stage, sings goofy goober rock, then zaps foes, the background changes, and fish people appear and attack foes.

master hand looks like a good playable character. remember X-men vs street fighter? you can play as the apocolypse. mabye nintendo tried that on master hand in melee and failed since he has no effects on off stage boundaries. but thats okay. he could just keep his health meter. because of the name entry glitch, I declare that master hand should be a playable character. if master hand was playable in brawl, I would destroy every and I won't care what people say. mwa hahaha!!!!!

Piplup for Smash (unlikely) is fine since it is a Nintendo character.
Oh, and Nintendo and Jump are on good terms, why do you think Nintendo published Jump Super Stars? Anime characters belong to Jump Super Stars. Nintendo characters belong to Super Smash Bros.
