Instead of Sonic and Cloud, how about characters that look and act like them, but in a parodic matter. If a character was a parody of Cloud, for example, he would be very dumb, have a sword so big that he can't lift it, check himself out in the mirror often, call himself the chosen one all the time, and say "Hoo ha" whenever he kicks someone.
haha. They'd need to be important characters to videogames in general to be in brawl period .

FF has had half of their games on Nintendo and started on Nintendo.
I rather see Etna ripping out Marth's spine, but Disgaea hasn't made an impact outside of SRPGs.
yes thats true the etna part but sadly your right but i still dont think ff should be in the next one and i like ff i think disgaea characters [wait they probably wont get in] would fit in the game laharls FS meteor

Has anyone ever thought of new online features for SSB4. I can probably guess it's been thought of many times, but I'll include my ideas for SSB4's possible future online if anybody is interested. Also, I try to keep my online ideas a little bit more towards the Nintendo standard, not the Halo 3 standard because we know Nintendo will NEVER get an online mode that great. However, I'm not saying my ideas are a shoe-in for the next smash. Hell, if you saw it, you'd probably also say Nintendo would never do this, because they probably won't. But again, I think my ideas for it are something reasonable that Nintendo COULD do, but they obviously won't.

If that becomes a Final Smash, then it should cause 50% damage backlash to the user, I mean if it would be considered overpowered without the backlash.

Oh, and for online features, how about a Mic-Talk feature? And how about computer-controlled AI replaces players that dropped out?

If Namco gets a rep, it should be Pac-Man. He is the mascot of Namco. He was also in both Mario Kart arcade games. None of the Namco characters, including any Soul Calibur characters, really deserve to be in Smash. They are just popular among the fans but they are not important in Nintendo's history like Pac-Man is.

I am beginning to think that the idea of having a second Pokemon Trainer might be very interesting. It would be fun to see a Pokemon battle between two trainers and their Pokemon. Red and his 1st gen Pokemon might stay but I would like to see Gold and his 2nd gen Pokemon, too. Also, Meowth for SSB4!

Sure, but what would he bring to the table, "wakka wakka" aside?

To be frank, I can't come up with anything resembling a moveset for that guy.

Serious Rank playing room, and the F*ck around playing room.

I don't like going into a match ready to fight to only see a bunch a people walk around and taunt. So these separate rooms are NEEDED

I was thinking along the lines of text messaging anybody online, while you have the option to voice message with the Wii speak option if you have somebody registered as friends.

As lovely as that sounds, Jiggs will need to get cut. And Pikachu should be part of PT.
Meowth should be part of PT2.
So its 4 PKMN each. each trainer with a iconic character.
(I'm actually trying to make room for Mewtwo lol)

Well, we should keep open the possiblity that Nintendo will get on with the times with online. At the very least I want:

1. Lobbies
2. Ranked and Player matches (See Street Fighter IV)
3. Gamercards that allow you to add people instead of stupid numbers.

Besides his basic punches and kicks from Pac-Man World games, he has his famous biting move for his standard special that could work like Wario's Bite. There are several ideas for his other specials from Pac-Man World 2. Here is a link to the video I found on YouTube. It should work as a good visual aid.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UXYcKCHb3LM

Can you see what Pac-Man is doing to bounce around in the first 30 seconds? That could work as his down special. It could be spammable, too.

Also, can you see what Pac-Man is doing to fly across the sky starting at 1:50? This is the perfect up special for Pac-Man! You could control the red dot like how you control Ness's PK Thunder. And Pac-Man would follow the dotted path created by the red dot.

Now, see what Pac-Man is doing at 2:05. This could work as his side special. He could charge and then roll across the stage like Sonic's side special.

And look out for his Final Smash at 4:22 where Pac-Man starts to glow and eat the ghosts. However I think it would be more appropriate for Pac-Man to transform into a giant 2D sprite from the original arcade game. He would then fly around in vertical and horizontal paths (no diagonal paths nor curved paths) just like in the original arcade game. Pac-Man could instantly KO a character if he chomps them down.

Right behind you with a knife.
Bodies are simmilar? They are the same.

Anyways, I personally would rather not see Pac-Man in SSB4, but my reasons are probably more psychological, since I just don't see him fitting in with the other third party characters. (Snake, Sonic, and possibly Mega Man)

I posted A moveset a while ago, but I'll do it again for the sake of you....btw, I gave it to the reynolds guy on youtube, so he should make a vid of it soon

B- Chomp

Side B- Dot Throw, charge for a blinking one

Down B- Holds a ghost that reflects attacks, like toad

Up B- Dot tether recovery

Final Smash- Giant Original Pacman! Chomps across the screen whil you hear "wakka wakka wakka"

See, pretty cool moveset, eh?
IT'S POSSIBLE YO!

edit: the butt bounce could be his down smash a, since the ghost is so old skool and EPIC!

Yes, I see now. Neat. I liked the part where he flies around while eating the dots.

Well, I guess he could work as a playable character after all!

What are you talking about? He looks completely out of place, just like Snake and Sonic (among others)...of course he would fit in! :p;)

Also, Ms. Pac-Man is basically Pac-Man wearing lipstick and a bow, after all. ;) Of course they look the same.

I know. When I first played Pac-Man World 2 and saw Pac-Man flying across the sky via the dotted path, I thought this was the most awesome thing he ever did!

No offense, but I prefer Arcadenik's idea for a moveset.

I do like the FS idea that both you and him came up with, though.
\

Well, I think that he should stay true to some of his original arcade moves, to give him that really cool and unique feeling.

His new world moves are more fighting style, and would fit perfectly with his A moves.

But pacman without his dots or chomp is like yoshi with no egg, or mario with no fireball, ya see. :)

I oughta try out and play those Pac-Man World games sometime. :)

You what the funny thing is? If Pac-Man gets in, we'll have our first "big eater" character that happens to be a 3rd party rep to ever entered Smash!

I think that there should be a balance of the two styles (arcade and World). There are some characters in the roster that do balance the old and the new (e.g. Mario, Sonic, Peach, Yoshi), so it can be done.

Ive got an ideA for pacman if he was in SSE....

When Galleom was defeted for the first time, a small dot would rool out from under him. Then pac man would come wakka-ing and following a trail of dots to the one that rolled out. He would eat it and look up, and it says PACMAN, you know

Just an idea,

Pac-Man never used ghosts as human shields. Why would ghosts want to defend Pac-Man? At least the Mushroom Retainers' job is to protect Peach so it wasn't farfetched for her to use Toad as a human shield. And Pac-Man doesn't throw dots. They are his food. That's why my up special idea worked. It came from an actual game and it refers to Pac-Man's love for delicious Kix cereal.

I know, but it would be cool looking, him holding the 8-bit ghost, it's got the pacman feel

Again, the dot is cool, and it being chargeable, c'mon, it doesn't matter that much, you don't have to be a jerk about it, at least I gave you credit for the Pacman world ideas
