Anyway, if you're referring to me, then I would like Mach Rider and Pro Wrestling's Star Man (although The Amazon is probably a better candidate) to get in.

There are people that want particular characters to get in, like Bowser Jr, Tingle, Krystal, King K. Rool, Samurai Goroh, Isaac, Claus, Sukapon, Takamaru, Megaman and Paper Mario.

I did notice that nobody's talking about wanting Geno to get in anymore, even though he was in Brawl's poll (made after Sakurai's SSBB roster was finalized at the time) and everything.

Koopalings could be a trophy that looks like the Kirby Hat trophies in Melee or they could each have one.

Well, Namco doesn't have that much presence on Nintendo consoles yet anyway. Capcom will most certainly be the first to join the 3rd party bandwagon next time. Hopefully, Tecmo, Hudson Soft and Grasshopper Manufacture (you never know, with Suda 51's unpredictability) will do the same.

What I'm wondering though is if 3rd parties can have more than one rep. Sure, Snake is fine for Konami, but he doesn't quite represent the company as a whole. What about Simon Belmont or Goemon?

Koopalings could be a trophy that looks like the Kirby Hat trophies in Melee or they could each have one.

They certainly need more recognition, considering that Ludwig's the only one who got a sticker in Brawl. Hopefully, their presence in the Wii version of New Super Mario Bros. will remedy that.

what if tether reverse and tether attack was possible? tether reverse is when you cling to the edge and come down with tether recovery. tether attack is when you jump, then cling to the enemy, and you come to him and attack. give the characters some upgrades.

mario: glide, and crawl. footstool jumps that damage people.

peach: perry as her parasol, Toad replaced with a heart from mario kart double dash
bowser: change his grab hit to biting.
DK: change down throw to multi punch (from DK jungle beat)
diddy kong: give him tether reverse.
yoshi: give him tether recovery.
wario: let him walk while having his mouth opened
link: give him tether reverse and tether attack.
shiek: give her tether attack
ganondorf: change name to Ganon, and give him the ability to use his sword when you select it.
toonlink: give him tether reverse and tether attack
samus: give her tether reverse
ZZS: give her tether reverse and tether attack
Kirby: give his sucking power a tad more range
falco: let him use 2 blasters at once change his FS to an arwing because he prefers the air.

give me one good reason why the shouldn't be playable. melee set a perfect example of master hand being playable even though it was just a glitch.

I'm not sure what you're saying about tether reverse, but I see a lot of potential in the tether attack. It's like an air attack, but not as risky addition. Of course, movesets would have to be altered to make sure these tether characters aren't broken in the process. After all, can you imagine if Yoshi had Tether Attack?

Yoshi would be top tier for sure. Imagine if Metaknight had a tether attack!

In all seriousness I do want to see the tether ability explored further by Sakurai. He did a nice job integrating it into Brawl, but there are still some things that he could have done to balance it out further. As well as some possible other mechanics that could have given a tad bit more "life" to the system in a way.

Come to think of it, this could set up an incredibly interesting matchup system. I'm thinking that each character is one of these four types of fighters,: Air (ex. Pit, Meta Knight, and Jigglypuff), Anti-Air (ex Samus, Yoshi, and Link), Ground (ex. Bowser, Ganondorf, and Donkey Kong), and all-around characters with no particular strength or weakness (ex. Mario).

As you can probably figure out, the matchups are made in a system similar to rock paper scissors. Ideally, here would be the match ups:

Air characters can beat ground 6/10, anti-air 4/10, air 5/10, and all-around 5/10. The others can be figured out from here.

Ivysaur is possibly the best anti-air machine.. UNTIL Samus is able to choose her trajectory like the Wii prime controls. She needs her ice beam. That combo'd with a missile should do double knock back.

Her Up-smash should be her plasma cannon.
Side-Smash ice beam
Down-smash electropulse.
BUT- She'll be able to aim it... Or not. Either way is fine.

Hes fine the way he is. Hes as strong as he looks (not strong). And his fighting style is unique (eventhough all of his attacks are the same)
But his Final Smash could have a preset area of attack (ganon, PT, Falcon). Otherwise its unfair

Sorry to break it to you, but I don't think that Daisy has any chance of joining the SSB4 roster.

Also, there should be more hidden characters and stages than that. There are supposed to be some 3rd parties, too.

Instead of Sonic and Cloud, how about characters that look and act like them, but in a parodic matter. If a character was a parody of Cloud, for example, he would be very dumb, have a sword so big that he can't lift it, check himself out in the mirror often, call himself the chosen one all the time, and say "Hoo ha" whenever he kicks someone.
