"Official" names of Ganondorf's moves

I remember a few years ago in an official SBBM Nintendo Power guide that they had names for every move each character had, not just the B specials. I'm not sure if it's entirely official or not but I think it's the best next reliable source so I would like to compile the names of Ganondorf's moves in this thread.

Be aware, this was back in the Melee days and since some of Ganon's moves changed at least visually there are names that may no longer apply.

A Jab: Thunder Punch (It was a punch back then but it's now a palm strike instead, perhaps it should be called Thunder Palm?

Dash Attack: Iron Shoulder

Side Tilt: Armor Crusher (now the Sparta kick)

Down Tilt: Sweeping Snake (not a sweep anymore though)

Up Tilt: Volcano Kick.

Side Smash: Nightmare Lunge

Down Smash: Leg Whip.

Up Smash: Tornado Kick (that's when it was the same as C. Falcon's, visual-wise)

Nair: Swooping Keese.

Uair: Vulture Kick.

Fair: Skull Crusher.

Bair: Hidden Gauntlet.

Dair: Thunder Drop.

Side B used to be Gerudo Dragon but it's not Flame Choke.

I use this move quite a bit, I usually called it a foot choke kind of like the dirty move wrestlers do when the guy is choked on the turnbuckle by the other guy's foot.

Fairly certain now Nair is "Dark Double" Bair is Back Fist, and Dair is Shock Boot. It's Thunderpalm for neutral jab now.

I understand Flame Choke is far more fitting now... But Gerudo Dragon was quite the name.

I love these though. They add even more character to the skull cracking he delivers. Thank you for sharing, I remember reading some of them in the trophy info from melee etc. but I don't remember all of these.

Funny enough, I've been calling it "Grave Marker" after the TWEWY psych of the same name. Tombstone is an equally good name as far as I'm concerned.

Sky Splitter is great. Actually better than the name I was thinking of (Sky Rift)
Uair should be called Moon Destroyer.

Snake Bite is too weak, though. Especially now when his Dtilt kills like crazy.
How about adding something involving a mythical creature instead?

D-tilt is really hard to name. Just like...a lot of the things I would name it compete with F-tilt. And finding a murderous synonym for low altitudes that isn't simply "hell" is tricky.

I'm sorta tempted to try something like "Lunge of Nidhogg/Jormungand" if you want mythical. Though Norse is a tad more obscure for most of us in America. I'm leaning towards something serpent-like given the Melee D-tilt was Sweeping Snake.

U-tilt though, just for kicks (literally), I'll throw out "Heel of Armageddon"

The term Abyss is a good replacement imo.

Logic: Getting hit by Ganon's Utilt is a weakness all characters share. They either get KOd or get their shield broken, which leads to RWP.
