as an idea for some stage/character retextures:
Poke Floats: have all the pokemon in shiny form
Fountain of Dreams: have it to where it feels like its Magicant (Mother 1 location)
Big Blue: Make it feel like port town/silence from F Zero X
Final Destination: Shines....shines everywhere
Fox: Make him look like Kraid
Kirby: Make him as a Roblox character

A skin for Fox that makes him look like Falco. still need to match the color better, maybe give fox a yellow muzzle. If someone else wants to take a crack at it I would be very happy(here are the edited textures: https://www.mediafire.com/#7enssfp8dapv1), i cant seem to get the blue the same color as falcos blue. reposted because it wasn't in the main post, probably because i didnt say what color it replaced.)

And here is Foxco, the inverse of Falcox. Again it isnt the best, I know that. But I really like the idea of swapping skins for clones, so this is a proof of concept. I can't find these, but I can remake them pretty easily. I'll post them here with new links when I'm done.

It's basically just what I sent Achilles after building the collection. However also included in the download is a list of what costumes are in there. If there are other costumes not here that you can't find anymore, let me know and I'll upload it if I have it. Also, don't forget to check Modulous.net if you can't find it here.

Could I perhaps give either of you the names of the texture mods that I'm looking for in particular and see if you could help me? All of them are listed in the OP. After going through the list of what's available in the barebones download, I can see a few are missing. Well, the ones I'm looking for are:
shiny green mewtwo / green alt - sky blue mewtwo / blue alt - crimson red mewtwo / red alt - roy skin for marth / red alt - zorua skin for pichu / red alt - dark suit samus / green alt - ike skin for roy / green alt - dark roy / red alt - marth skin for roy / blue alt.

You can just export the stage/textures with DAT Texture Wizard. I can do it for you, but it will need to wait until I'm out of work.
They built the "Melee Wave" as a modpack, they didn't release things individually.

You can use a wii or dolphin. Playing on a Gamecube is either impossible or difficult enough to make it not worth it.

You can just export the stage/textures with DAT Texture Wizard. I can do it for you, but it will need to wait until I'm out of work.
They built the "Melee Wave" as a modpack, they didn't release things individually.

I decided to give it a try and got the textures successfully, I had no idea how easy/advanced this program is. Thanks for offering to rip it for me though.

Also, I was looking to see if I could change the color of the Pokemon Stadium sky. Is this possible with only textures? If not, would there be a way of modding it to a different color wile still being able to play with others with a clean copy of the game?

For future reference though, modulus had the Dark Link texture available for download, and you can easily convert it to a different color using DAT.

Step 1: Download / get a hold of the texture you want to convert.
Step 2: Download / Export / Get a hold of a texture that covers the color you want your original texture to cover. (ie. If you wanted a texture to cover Blue Link, get a texture that covers Blue Link)
Step 3: Open DAT Texture Wizard and click the tab that says CCC (This stands for Character Color Converter)
Step 4: Click the button that says Stand Alone File for Step 1 and navigate your folders to find the .DAT file that you want to convert.
Step 5: Click the button that says Stand Alone File for Step 2 and navigate your folders to find the .DAT file that covers the color you want your original texture to cover.
Step 6: Click convert and you're done! The file that "covered" the color you wanted (ie the Blue Link) is now a mirror image of the original texture!

Most if this stuff is actually incredibly easy once you get over the newness of it all. DAT is super intuitive and super easy to use.

Would anyone know how to remove this grid pattern from the options screen

I was able to rip this from the MNCB but it only appears like this when you go to 'Custom rules' from the Vs. Mode screen. It still has the grid when you go to it directly from the CSS.

Changing a .dat into a .rat or .lat is extremely complicated. I hope I am not mistaken, but I think what you do is make the "d" in .dat into a "l" or an or "r". Pretty serious stuff. Or just import using DAT Texture Wizard and it takes care of the magic behind the scenes for that exchange.
