Kinda like the ICs in that there's 2 characters, however, they would pwn so much harder

they could shoot bubbles to stun people, then jump on them to regain a (very slight) amount of HP :D their final smash thing would have the letters EXTEND come onto the screen and then they'd shoot a lightning bubble and shock everyone :O

also, they'd be able to fire wave bubbles and fire bubbles <.<

PS: yes, i know they have absolutely no chance to get in brawl. BUT IT WOULD STILL PWN! XD

Yeah they are cool, but being 3rd party kills their chances.

Better pictures.

And here is a moveset I made for them awhile back.
--------------------------------------------------------------

A- Bub and Bob do a punch combo.
A+Up Bub and Bob do a headbutt attack.
A+Down Bub and Bob do a low kick.
A+Side Bub and Bob attack with thier tails
---------------------------------------------------------------
Air
A-Bub and bob they do a spin attack that hurts all that make contact.
A+up Bub and Bob do a flip kick
A+Down Bub and Bob attack attacks multiple times with thier feet
A+Side Bub and Bob do a side kick
---------------------------------------------------------------
Running+A Bub and Bob use the running shoes from their game and do a running dash that turns into a blur.
---------------------------------------------------------------
B- Bub and Bob blow rapid amounts of bubbles that harm on impact. Hold to make bigger stronger bubbles. (can control the larger ones). (may catch opponent in bubble)
B+Up Bub and bob form a bubble around themselves in order to float for a limited time.
B+Down Bub and bob form a bubble shield that reflect attacks back.
B+Side Bub and Bob blow two random different bubbles with different power (electricity strikes the stage if its popped). (fire covers the ground for a limited time) (water sweeps away opponent causing them to lose control for a while and lose one jump).

Alternate B+down Bub and Bob Blow a random bubble it forms around them, will burst and do a random effect (see B+Side) for the bubbles
---------------------------------------------------------------
Smash attack+Up Bub and Bob Make a sweeping motion making a blue/green aura
Smash attack+Down Bub and Bob Charge up a single giant bubble that you can control.
Smash attack+Side Bub and Bob attack with a rainbow beam (borrowed from rainbow island).
---------------------------------------------------------------
Taunt- they drink a potion, and turn human for a second.
---------------------------------------------------------------
Final Smash- Bub and Bob sprays a large amount of bubbles on the stage. They all float upwards, and burst. The screen turns to a whitish tint, and everyone on screen is damaged

(Another idea)Final Smash- Bub and bob blows a huge random bubble (Fire/electrict/water... so on). it bursts and causes damage to all. (see Side+B for ideas on the bubbles).

Lol, they're pretty cool (never heard of them by the way) but i hate duo fighters, god **** IC. Cool moveset anyway. So who are these guys?

EDIT: Huh, "da mn" is censored.
Bub & Bob/Bubblun & Bobblun (japanese names)

They are two kids that get turned into dragons, and travel through a cave of monsters to save thier girlfriends that got captured. (They are friends, and the blue one is the second player)

^^from memory so it might not be 100% accurate, been awhile since I have played it on the nes. I think they did remake the game for the GBA though.

They are also the mascot characters of the bust a move series.

They look so... huggable.
In what characters I want for Brawl has to do with looks as well xD
They look like Brawl matieral, but being 3rd party = eh.
Though, if they were in Brawl, I'd have no problem!

This is porbably a really stupid question, but I know nothing of these guys.
Everyone's saying that they should be in Brawl, but won't; are they really that outlandish or could they be drafted for Brawl like some other oldies (IC and GAW)? Are they not the kind of character Nintendo would put in to bring back memories?

EDIT: Also, which one is Bub and which is Bob? :)

the thing with these 2, is that they werent... really... that popular >.> most people i know havent even heard of them. nintendo could bring them back and everything, but due to low popularity, plus the fact that they started and were mainly an arcade series, they probably wont. also, from what i hear, they're more popular for bust a move than they are for their own game... so... yeah >.>

Well they have been around a little bit recently so they wouldn't exactly be like G&W and IC's,, but the MAIN problem is that they are 3rd party. And since we are only expecting a few 3rd party characters, they have little chance. They don't take "priority" over sonic, and other possible canadits.

Bub = green
Bob = blue

They did start out on the arcade, but had a lot of sequals/ports.

They have been on the Nes, GB, GBA, and 2 games for the DS. (I only named the nintendo consoles, they have alot) So they have been on a nintendo console recently ^^;

And yeah they are more popular for thier bust a move appearances...

They were the main characters in Bubble Bobble? It was one of the bigger NES titles.

Now they have a puzzle game called Bust-A-Move (in the U.S. In Japan it was called Puzzle Bobble,) where you shoot bubbles around.

Ring some bells? ...It really makes me sad to think that these guys are so poorly represented in the annals of gaming history that you've likely completed missed out on them up 'til now. There're hillbilly remixes of their tunes. There're tattoos of them on a number of people... :(

They could definitely work as a duo, as they're about the same size as the Ice Climbers, and they did about the same things...minus the hammers. Still, I'd probably more want to see them independent, with the name changing from Bub to Bob when you swap palettes.

As addressed, they're unlikely thanks to being both third party and not very 'big.' Admittedly, in the gaming world, they are hella iconic, though. They should be in Smash, though, and they seem like the kind of characters Sakurai would fall for!

sakurai may fall for them, but unless the fans like them or he gets money from somewhere else (*cough* snake *cough*) i doubt they're someone he'd put in :p

with limited 3rd party slots... its doubtful we'd see bub + bob over characters like sonic

i agree 100 percent bub and bob could make it to brawl. i've always thought they would make a great character. even though most people say " people hardly know them" it still is very possible to make it in. no one knew who the hell ice climbers were and im pretty sure not many people asked for them in melee. same could go as these sick little power houses themselves:p.

Being cute isn't a good reason for being in Brawl. This thread is terrible, and will be terrible until the thread creator learns to spell and comes up with some decent reasons.

Bub and Bob are fairly iconic video game characters. Many people have played the original Bubble Bobble and its many ports. There is also the Rainbow Island (I believe that's the name) game where they're humans. Not to mention the popular Bust-a-Move series of arcade games.

All that being said though, since they're not nearly as recognized as they used to be and they're 3rd party, they stand very little chance.
