Indeed, back when the tier list made some actual sense.
I am by no means the only Yoshi player that does well with him. My performances have been quite mediocre lately, and even if they were good, one player does not a character make.There you go,I think thats what you ment to say

DL the spreadsheet, find Sonic and DK on there. Compare the numbers.
If DK mains don't like it, they can play better to change the data. DL the spreadsheet and look at the numbers DK has. They're atrocious.
I do believe it has more to do with the DK boards being relatively soft spoken in comparison to, say, the ZSS boards.

Like I previously mentioned, DK board is possibly the least spoken-for board of them all. I do, however, find it hilarious that Sonic is above him due to mobility when DK is one of the fastest heavyweights in the game and a not-terrible moveset. The one thing I do find agreeable on this list is Wolf's rise.
Wolf is an amazing character and G&W isn't. I don't see your problem on that one. DDD has subpar MUs vs top tier and his results compared to usage is very lacking.
Or, you know, you don't understand the game at top level and have your own biased opinion while the people who made the list have a very good understanding of the game and data to back it up. Again, DL the excel document and look at the numbers.

Have you DL'd the excel document? Also, it's not really that they went down as much as IC and Oli just finally went up (they've been overdue).
Falco was voted a little higher, Marth has a somewhat better weighted matchup spread and Falco wins more money, even moreso after a correction for popularity.
DK's weighted matchups are far worse than Sonic's are, even his current placement could be considered on the high end in terms of that. Sonic also makes more money in tournaments if you correct for popularity. Note that DK would have been above Kirby if it were just votes, it's the less subjective part that brought him down.

He's not broken, just really good.
If the DK boards are soft spoken and allow numbers that we used to be "incorrect" (as you seem to believe), how is that our fault? If you don't like how it turned out, fix the numbers and place better. His MU numbers are awful to the point where the DK boards "just" being soft spoken is why and his results data is severely lacking as well.

A single player's success never lasts forever. I mean, look at where PT is now. If it had only been Polt and myself who were providing Yoshi's results, he would have dropped because of both our inactivity.
No one has done anything with him in recent times, and the game is becoming very ground-oriented. Wario hasn't won (m)any large tournaments, either.
