Official Advertisement Thread

I thought we should have a thread for any early sign of any advertisements for Brawl. If you see any, please, post them here.

I have already seen 4:

The first one was in a Wal-mart, in a catalog. It was next to Guitar Hero 3.

I also seen the same advertisement in a Gamestop catalog.

Today, while I was watching Channel 13, I actually saw a Toys R Us commercial featuring the box art for Brawl next to a Wii and, once again, Guitar Hero 3.
For the last one, it was a cardboard cut out of several Brawl characters in Gamestop.

Of course, all of these where scheduled for December 3, but I still see all of them still out there, which is odd...

What have you seen?

ive seen one at gamestop but thats all really and it was only a small paper on the counter with sonic photoshopped in and mario photoshopped to look like luigi it was all fake but there were some real stuff very decieving i saw it a while ago and it said dec3

Haha Nintendo doesn't know what is advertising. Look at Metroid Prime 3. Most of us didn't know the game existed if we do not follow game websites like Ign closely. Even Pokemon didn't get enough promotion until very close to its release.

Brawl will get a "Wii Would Like To Play" Commercial. I mean, look at Galaxy. Biggest 2007 Wii Title, Same Ol Commercial. I don't really mind them, I actually like them. It would probably consist of a bunch of stock footage that we've already seen in trailers and such.

I loved the Smash N64 commerical where Mario, Pikachu, DK & Yoshi were fighting. I hope they make a remake of that. I loved it sooo much!

None yet, But they better actually advertise brawl on alot of popular channels.

Let brawl be known, as for it will be the best game to hit wii, or possibly the best game ever created in gaming history.

Thats not true at all. I there are proably many people who will buy it because they knew was out because of a commercial. Not everyone whos going to buy brawl goes on the dojo or might not even know about it.

I doubt that. Haven't you noticed that Wii Would Like to Play commercials feature games with exclusive motion-sensing, pointing, etc.? Take MP3's shooting and grappling, and Mario Galaxy's shake spin and Star Bit shooting. Even Excite Truck was all about tilt steering. What about Brawl? They can't base the whole commercial off of a Shake Smash, 1 optional set-up for 1 move under 1 control scheme...

I agree, although they could have the shake-smash 3 times, and just have a lot of action on screen.

I've seen several that say Dec.3rd. All those poor kids must feel bad... "ooh look, mom i want this game for chrstmas" And they have no idea.

yeah i have talked to so many people who kind of know that it is coming out, but they don't know anything about it/think it came out on dec 3. i'm hoping for some new "wii would like you to play" commercials featuring smash bros.
