"For Glory"
1v1 (or 2v2 if enough people express an interest in doubles!)
Moveset customization on, gear/stats customization off (assuming it's possible to do one and not the other and easily verify it, if not then character customization will be turned off entirely. Either way, this means the "Mii Fighter" characters cannot be used, as the player MUST design their stats.)
Items set to Off and None
Best of 3
First stage is always Battlefield. Subsequent stages are chosen by the loser of the previous round from a TBD list. Stage striking rules to come.
4 stock, 8 minute timer. If time runs out, whoever has the most remaining stock wins. If both players have the same number of stock, then the round is a draw. (If Sudden Death can be turned off, then players should do so. Otherwise, just ignore the results of Sudden Death and move to the next round. Or just KO your opponent before it gets to that point!)
Pause off (if possible)
Be careful to avoid accidentally switching your 3ds's wireless communication off! Doing so during a round will result in a round loss.
Entry fee $10
Will start promptly at 1 PM!! Doors open at noon, so get there early to register!
Prizing:
1st: 40%
2nd: 30%
3rd: 20%
4th: 10%
Prizes can be given out either in the form of Visa gift cards to be used anywhere, or store credit to be used at Shadow LAB.

Mii Fighters allowed so long as they're not inappropriate. Using an inappropriate Mii Fighter will result in disqualification.

Random stage
5 minutes in the maze, 3 minute KO fest. Sudden Death is okay here, so there will never be a draw!
