Atlantic North [Oct 15, 2016] Project M & Melee at The Game Castle (Londonderry, NH)

Hey i'm Dawnz, i'm going to be running Project M & Melee tournaments with Gtown_Tom at The Game Castle
These are going to be happening once a month.

We will be live streaming the tournament at http://www.hitbox.tv/Dawnz and upload the matches on my YouTube
Feel free to go up and commentate I don't mind and I appreciate the help.

Schedule
- 3pm Doors Open & Registration
- 5pm Project M
- 6:30pm Melee
- 10pm Venue closes

$5 Venue Fee (This will be waived by bringing a CRT TV, Wii/Gamecube, and SD Card+Brawl/Melee)

$5 Tournament Entry Fee Per Event

Payouts

< 37 entrants:

• 1st (60%)
• 2nd (30%)
• 3rd (10%)

37-49 entrants:

• 1st (54%)
• 2nd (27%)
• 3rd (13%)
• 4th (6%)

50+ entrants:

• 1st (48%)
• 2nd (22%)
• 3rd (14%)
• 4th (8%)
• 5th (4%)

We will be taking all the entrants by the stream setup until 4 for Melee and 6 for PM, meet us over there.
The bracket will be posted on Challonge the link will be on the stream as well.

PM Rules

Sets
4 stock, 8 minute time limit
All items set to off and none
Sets are best of 3 until Top 8, which is best of 5.

- Character selection
- Stage strike 1-2-1
- Play match 1
- Winner of previous match chooses character
- Loser of previous match chooses character
- Winning player bans stages (2 bans)
- Loser of previous match announces next match's stage
- Play next match

Counterpicks (2 Bans, Regular DSR UNLESS ON GAME 5 -

Unfortunately, for now we won't be able to run melee but if this gets more popular and I have enough requests ill think about it.

Thanks so much, i'm glad you had a good time the next one will be on June 30th i'm also probably going to host another monthly or weekly at a place in Salem NH im looking at. Ill let you know if I need the remote, I asked one of my friends I think i'll be able to get one from him, thanks a lot anyway. I'll add you on skype tonight my name will just be dawnz, same picture. When the venue owner gets back to me, the tournament will most likely be this Saturday, the 27th. I'll leave another post confirming

We have to cancel this month they said they have a big event Saturday with 100 people. Last Saturday of next month will be going on though

i might be able to go depending on if i can get a ride or not but i am glad to find out that a tourney happens at my local card shop and i was wondering is there any like controllers that are banned (just in case my gamecube controller breaks) or will there be controllers there
