Not clone from what I've read/gathered.

They call it apart of the same "genre" but have different mechanics and stuff.

From what I gather there are still 3 lanes with two opposing sides who using heroes and creep waves to slowly kill towers and enemy heroes until one team destroys the enemy teams main structure in their base. I think a river is also present in the middle.

I also believe it was made by the some of the people who worked on dota a few years back (I dunno whether Icefrog does). It's a dota clone.
