tbh I was just looking forward to sitting down and constantly practicing chaingrabs until tempest; I'm really ****ing sick of 99% of my losses being because I keep giving people chances to hit me again after I grab them.

but yeah, I really do not have the money to go to canberra before tempest (unless im driven lol, but even then food costs would hurt hard), and I wasn't even planning on going to any tourneys/meets that might have occurred before tempest anyway (although I probably would have gone to ZXV's). Sorry?

That said, Luke we really need to sort out tempest ****, pm me or something plz.

also you would literrally only have to pay zxv petrol money, if he wanted you too.

@EA: Instead of practising chaingrabs, you should practise the all mighty de-synched squall hammer to grab that I'm always telling you about. If you bother with it, it won't matter if you screw up your grabs because getting the grab will be incredibly easy. How about this then, if you swear you'll take it seriously and try to implement it, then I'll bother to join you as a "smash researcher" and we can laugh at all others who do not possess a special colour.

see ea, what foxys telling you is exactly what I've been telling you to learn for like the last year, as if there isnt a **** way to desynch a hitbox and grab so you grab them in shieldstun from your last attack.

It doesn't matter because I already get at least 3 grabs every game; I consistently lose because I drop chaingrabs, not because I don't get enough grabs. And it not working has nothing to do with shieldlag lol. I vaguely remember mentioning shield sdi to you but it was probably on the topic of blizzard>grab.

Also Foxy I have over 1000 posts, clearly that means I am a Smash Researcher Lord.

It doesn't matter because you can just get hit by blizzard and ASDI up to avoid the grab. Then bair me for sillily thinking I could really get away with that stunt.

yes thats true, but being that its an unused tactic, nobody will think to do that, and even if they do, its hard to force yourself not to follow your muscle memory reaction, in that by doing blizzard they will shield it without thinking and then they've just been grabbed.
either way its a very useful tool to add to your arsenal, and if you dont and you lose a big game that you could have won if you had just gotten one more grab, i'm gonna be that ******* that says I told you so

Anyway dw dude I get what you're saying. But integrating new grabbing tactics is something for my future; right -now- the most important thing for me is chaingrab consistency.

Guys. Dead set. I agree that squall hammer COULD be used, however it is quite situational and if you screw up, you're just got your ICs seperated and are gonna lose nana and maybe the stock.

Blizzard is a terrible idea though.

well I dont know, I just think there would be a way to get it to work, futhermore seeing as your the only ic's player around really ea, anything that you dont do, is unknown metagame to the majority of australia.
