FX Game Exchange will be hosting it's first Monthly Super Smash Bros. 4 tournament, CYCLONE, November 26th, 2016.

Venue : $5
Singles : $10
Doubles : $10 ($5 per player)

Payout % depends on number of entrants.

SUPER SMASH BROS. Wii U RULES!

* All Sets will be 2/3 until Winners Semis, Loser's Semis, and Loser's Quarters, which will be 3/5

* 2 stock (3 stock for Teams)

* 6 minute timer (8 minutes for Teams)

* Custom Moves will be turned off, equipment will not be legal

Stages:

Starters:
- Battlefield
- Final Destination
- Smashville
- Town and City
- Lylat Cruise

Counterpick:
- Dreamland
- Duck Hunt

* Choosing a starter is done by a stage-striking process. The stage striking is done by 1-2-1 starting with the player with the lower seed.

* The player who did not win the most recent game chooses the stage during counterpicking.

* Each player is allowed 1 stage bans per set. A player may choose to select a stage they have banned as their counterpick. Banning Final Destination also bans any Omega Mode stage.

* Players have 2 minutes in between games to determine any ban(s) or counterpick stage. Anyone in excess of this rule will receive a game loss.

* Items set to “off” and “none.”

* Either player may call for a Double Blind character selection for the first match. The player requesting the Double Blind will notify either the Tournament Organizer, or an approved Judge, that they want a Double Blind selection. The player submitting the request will inform the TO/Judge which character they plan to select, then their opponent chooses their character on the character select screen, then the player who requested the Double Blind chooses their character on the character select screen.

* Dave's Stupid Rule is in effect; a player may not choose any stage that they won on during the set. Both players may agree to ignore this rule at any time.

* * For teams, Team Attack is on and stock sharing is allowed. The same stage list will be utilized for both Singles and Doubles.

* Pausing during a match, unless approved by the other player, will result in the loss of one stock for the player who pressed the pause button.

* Quitting out of a match before it is over will result in a loss

* If time runs out, the person with the highest number of stocks left wins. If the players have the same number of stocks when time runs out then the player with the lower % is awarded the victory. If the % is equal as well, play a 1 stock 3 minute match, same characters and stage.

* If the match goes to sudden death due to a self-destruct move the player who initiated the move is awarded the win; otherwise the player displayed as victorious by the game is determined as the winner. Examples of this are Ganondorf's Side-B, Kirby's Neutral-B, etc.

* No coaching during a match. Consulting someone between matches is allowed as long as the match begins within the two-minute time frame between matches.

* Both players may agree to any rule or stage outside the tournament ruleset; this does not include extending match time

* Mii's are not allowed
