EDIT: rofl, that was great. It looks like Lucario just got hit by Sonic's get up attack (obviously) right before he was about to grab edge, which resulted in a stage spike.

It would appear however that Lucario got stage spiked and rebounded off the slants of the Smashville stage

you are right that he went far for a hit at 8 percent but weirder things have happened.
maybe his get up attack has set knockback and would hit him out that far no matter what damage he was at
M2k uses getup attacks to hit through tornados and all kinds of stuff like that.
