omg... my friend preordered brawl at Walmart, and they said they were getting it on march 31st... That would make me sad... Hopefully Walmart is just insane, after all they did think it was coming out on December 3rd, up until like December 2nd... Hopefully it was wrong, either way look out for an update this week, either something huge, or a playable demo for dload, or a new amazing character, because those are sure signs brawl will be delayed again.

If this is true i will be so wrong, but hopefully walmart is just insane.

im getting it at game stop, which is where i preordered it, but i was saying maybe walmart found out it was delayed or sumthing... anyway if they dont say anything this week then walmart is just dumb. I hate walmart... i need brawl the 10th though!!!! i want it soo bad!

Guy at walmart: *looking around the room* Hmmm. its the 19th today, my bday is the 16th, 19-16=3 which is the month of march, i am 18, smash bros is the #1 game, and it comes out on the 10th, 10+1+18=29, march 29th! thats when we get brawl!!!

The biggest question I have though is how did major retailers (wal-mart, circuit city, best buy, etc.) printed ads with the game coming out December 3rd, when the game was announced to be delayed back in October? I swear the marketing people are mentally challenged.

I think these big retailer stores send out their first shipment of products to their actual stores, and since Brawl is such a high demand game it would be logical that they would fill up all of their stores with the product and give a probably delay for their warehouse shipments.. So while you may not be able to get it from the Wal-Mart warehouse on time.. the stores may carry it.

Also, All of these online stores did not even know Brawl was delayed when we did.. it took game stop like a week or two to change the release date for brawl... so don't you think its a bit odd that they would suddenly know a release date change before us (and the Dojo).

These are my takes on the delay thing.. I hope theres no delay I really want brawl!

At the Denton GameStop they said they would be getting the game in as soon as Feb. 7th (though they may mean that's when they are shipping it.) I would doubt the game's going to be delayed, maybe that's the 2nd shipping date. Or the date for people who haven't preordered yet (AKA: so many people have that anybody else won't get a chance at the game until that time - in my town over 100 people have already preordered Brawl and that was a couple of weeks ago.)

Just because the game is being released to the markets on Feb 10th, doesn't mean that every store is going to order it to sell it on that date. Some stores might wait a few weeks after to the release to see how the game sells before deciding to put in an order for it. No point of putting a game on the shelves that's not going to sell well right?

It takes time for the stores to order the games. They also have to set it up. Sometimes when stores get games, it takes a week. I got my DS when it came out, but I got it a week after they started selling.

I forgot what game it was, I was wanting to get it at target nut they said "ohh we are not getting that for another month" but Best Buy had it. So I think it is just because Video Game are not their main profit so they don't order games right away
