have you considered that more people play melee (competitively) than brawl or 64 and maybe it's for a reason?
maybe people like it better because of what it offers compared to the other games, that's fine isn't it?

"meleelitists" are basically a made up demographic anyways (and if they are not, then we can all figure out that no one needs an elitist of any sort. no one would like a brawl, 64, or PM elitist)

I voted "close-minded" (even though this is almost definitely a stupid joke thread). Melee is my favorite in the series as well, but the extent some people go to to make Brawl sound like such a bad game is pretty ridiculous. It's different for sure but still did a lot of things very well.

There is only one type of "gamer" that get more on my nerves than Meleetists and those are the ****ing "genwunners" from the Pokémon fandom. In regards of Meleetists, I wouldn't mind them, if they had respect for the people who prefer Brawl or SSB64 over Melee and for the games themselves. After all, it is perfectly fine to prefer an older game of a series over a newer one. Sadly, that is not the case. Instead of being mature and respectful human beings, Meleetists come as immature, loving to belittle the people who don't agree that Melee is a better game than Brawl and that faster gameplay is better than slower. So yeah, that is my two cents on the subject. Really hoping that SSB4 is more akin to Brawl than Melee, just to see their salty tears. Haha, not really, I want that to happen because Brawl is just far more enjoyable to me.

That's cool, I respect the Brawl players cause they make it competitive when it was made to be a full causal game.
