No Online Stock Matches???

I've recently heard that there will only be a 2 minute time match option for online matches. Based on the dojo pics, I haven't even seen an online stock match! I'm sure all of the competitive smash players would be disappointed if they were forced to play a two minute time match. I don't know anyone that prefers time over stock matches. Can someone please help me find an answer to this? In my opinion, having only time matches, would ruin the online gameplay!

You can probably (as like 99%) choose the game mode when playing with friends. And ofcourse, there's no direct confirmation that you can only have time matches online/with anyone.

Don't fret. Sakurai knows everyone plays different, and did say "we really have thought of everthing".

But if you post here you're bound to find some bogus rumor/assumption someone made which everyone will believe is true.

Ok guys thanks for the help. Im sure I wouldn't be the only person crushed if they had only time matches.
