No Jigglypuff for Brawl?

It just recently hit me that the likelihood of Jigglypuff returning for Brawl will be very unlikely.

Why, do you ask? One simple reason. Peaches final smash.

If peach posses the ability to make all the characters on the stage fall asleep then what's Jigglypuff supposed to do? Making people snooze is her signature move. It's still too soon to call it but Jigglypuff is probably leaving us this time around.

Jigglypuff is coming back in brawl, I think that's a sure thing. You have nothing to worry about.

Think of it this way, Mario can use fire in his final smash and bowser uses fire in one of his moves.

So why can't Peach put people to sleep in her final smash and jigglypuff puts people to sleep with one of her moves?

A lot of people like Jigglypuff as a fighter in brawl though, I know I sure do anyway.

If Jigglypuff wasn't in the original smash game or melee, she'd have no chance of being in now. But because she's a unique character and she has a decent fanbase(around smash bros players anyway). I see no reason she should not be in.

She may not be as popular as she used to be pokemon wise but I think amongst Smash bros players she's pretty popular, Wheater you want her in to play as her or just use her as a punching bag, it all counts as popularity.

That is a bit different... if Black Knight was slower than Ike... wow. It just wouldn't make any sense, at all. He would be completely unplayable, even Ike is slow to the point of near-unplayability, FAR slower than Link. I mean, he is slower than Bowser was in Melee!

Of course Ike shouldn't be that slow in the first place so making the BK faster than him is an option, regardless of how little sense it makes.

Some inteviews ended with some guys spilling up Jigglypuff, Luigi, and Krystal. Luigi is a confirmed character, Jigglypuff is confirmed to be in, and Krystal has a voice cameo somewhere.

It's pretty much become tradition that by beating Classic Mode, Jigglypuff is unlocked. I don't think Brawl will be any different....and admit it...everyone likes destroying their friends as the pink powerhouse XD

If jiggs is back in, they should change around some of her moves. I think she shared quite a few with kirby if i recall correctly. They were all A button moves though, and they were small in number, but it would still be a nice little change.

Now, let's look at how they fight. Miciah is a poor fighting unit, I just keep her in the back and use her to pick off weak foes for XP.

When did I ever mention Michiah in my post, or any of those other characters for that matter? I also mentioned that my personal stance was that Ike represented PoR/RD just fine and that there's more from FE's history they could pull from to add a little variety if they decided to add another heavy character. To be honest I always thought the Brawl FE representation would be Marth, Ike, and an FE7 rep(though that chance has been pretty much shot to hell). Not to mention the fact that fighting ability in games has nothing to do with their chances, Peach and Zelda from what I know weren't really into that much ***-kickery when melee hit.

I'm also aware that Black Knight was one the poll, but I believe he only got one or two mentions which so far seems to mean they become AT's or Bosses. I will say though with the way you described BK he definitely sounds more like boss material.
I'm not saying BK has no chance but I personally think they should spread the FE representation to cover more of the FE games timelines.

Go to 2:51 and listen closely to the question and answer. Bear in mind that Hayter did all his Snake translations for Brawl a few months before this, which included a Snake codec for every character in the game. Which means, HE KNOWS EVERY CHARACTER IN BRAWL. And since he made a codec for a character called Jigglypuff, it means that JIGGLYPUFF IS IN BRAWL.

Exactly. Pokemon Final Smashes always use Pokemon game moves, and Jiggs already has Sing as her Up B! So what other characteristic moves are left? Hyper Voice and Perish Song. Both can be great final smash material. See what logic can do? Peach's final smash being bad news for Jigglypuff, ha!

The Puff is my secondary character in Melee, so I would like to see it return. And since the interveiw kinda confirms that, I'm happy! If the puffs final Smash was perish song, I hope it would be inescapeable, meaning the character would just fall down and lose a life. If they went flying, they might be able to get stopped by an obstacle. I've never heard of hyper song... must be from one of the games after gold and silver... I really want Diamond and Pearl. Darkrai is pretty broken.
