No damage meter

Hey, I didn't see anything like this before. It's just a minor thought I had that might be interesting.

Wouldn't it be kind of cool to have the option of turning off the damage meter entirely? Of course I'd prefer to use it most of the time, but having a "fog of war" effect might be kind of fun.

Any other thoughts about this?

I'm hoping for a completely customizable HUD, where you'd be able to disable character names, percents, pictures, as well as player names which float above your head. The name constantly floating over your head always bothered me. If they don't have that, then I simply won't customize my controls. (Yeah, I'm th at weird.)

I think this would be kind of cool, actually... I probably wouldn't use it that much, but it would deffinatly be interesting. having to estimate what damge you would be, and having to pay attention to all the attacks that hit you. it would be sweet.

It'd be nice if this implies camera mode.

I think that would be great for casual play. When my friends and I get tired of 1v1's or every1 wants go 1v1 1st, we end up playing 4 player FFA. Usually I try to kill the person with the highest damage although one friend swears i'm going for him the whole time. With no damage meters, it becomes truly free for all because no1 is trying to go for the most or least damaged players, its just an all out brawl where you smash whoever is closest to you

Afraid not, someone just commented in a thread about pokemon trainer that damage meters disappeared during PT's Final Smash and it made me think of it.

To most who replied: yeah, I think it'd be fun to do occasionally. XD Your only real way to know how damaged you are would be to see how far you go flying.

The icing on the cake would be seeing how damaged you were when you died. I bet people would rack up much higher totals and not even realize it.
