This is good news for those who want to play Steam games on Switch, I guess.

Watch we finally get the one game that we all been waiting for.

That doesn't mean JACK though. Do you know why? The Playstation 4 still has Life of Black Tiger, there's no way the switch is going to succeed unless it has a 4k port of that.

Not into Overwatch myself, but I hope that's implying something big. Half Life or TF2 would be asking for too much since I already enjoy them on Steam.

Wait, what's that about Disgaea 5 being at launch? I don't remember that being specified, is the analyst just flapping his gums at that part or is that new?

Either way, I feel like there's quite a few things bubbling under the surface at Switch Central that are just waiting until next year to blossom. The comment from Reggie about Mother and Metroid was already odd. This certainly explains why many of the major third party titles have unannounced releases or are stated to be for Fall, at the very least.

We got 20 indies handed devkits in three weeks and the thing isn't even out or easy for most indies to figure out how to apply for yet.

How good or bad this ends up probably depends on if Nintendo updates their Eshop search function enough to be able to sift through things satisfactorily.

Despite sharing the same form factor, they would both be marketed at different audiences from each other, using this model Kimishima brought up for the existing 3DS. The price would be lower than that of the Switch, and so it would be aimed towards a different demographic. Should it ever come to market, I'm sure it would have some feature(s) that sets it apart from the other system.

That depends on the sentiment of the developers, I'd guess.

I would also assume that PC games are made with lower power setups in mind and scaleable graphics, while PS4/XB1 games would be more likely to chase only the highest graphics possible, so PC ports may be more likely than ports from other consoles.

Shiny Charm or no?

You may as well keep going since it's possible that it could take a while, 58 hatches is pretty damn lucky for your Stufful, even with a Shiny Charm...

Any sort of shiny hunting requires some serious patience, so unless you really couldn't be bothered you'll have to keep at it until it happens...

We can hope, but there's no certainly guarantee. For one, obviously the system must sell to give some encouragement to the third parties. Second, obviously they must face a trial for each excuse that stands in their way of bringing a game to the Switch, whether it'd be the "We'll never reach the sales like that of Nintendo games." trial or "Our games won't sell on Nintendo systems." trial or the "Nah, we are too lazy. 1 year still takes a looooooooong time." trial.

My longest was a Feebas with 1604 eggs and with charm.

Disgaea 5 switch is confirmed. Don't think it's LAUNCH, but it's like March-May window.

But even then there still might not be anything. Just because it's easier doesn't mean it's worth it.
No point bringing over games if there's no audience to sustain it. No point bringing over games if it's a ***** to accommodate for all the controller configurations (assuming they're forced to).
No point bringing over games if the console isn't strong enough to run it.
